"Oh isn't it a beautiful day?" A man, obviously on his way to work, in his suit, with a briefcase in hand, exclaimed.
Helga rolled her eyes. Yes, it was a beautiful day buddy. Clear blue skies, and Mr. Sun shining down on her. Big whoop. Another day, of absolute torture in school, it'd be no different from any other day.
Yes..Oh yes..Helga raised a hand over her heart as she rushed along the sidewalk to school. Another day of torture in school..Having to see Arnold, and never being able to tell him about how deeply and truly she was in love with him. Sitting directly behind him in class and never being able to stand up and shout, to tell the world how incredibly wonderful Arnold was AND THAT SHE HELGA G. PATAKI DIDN'T CARE WHO KNEW THAT SHE KNEW AND THAT AND THAT..
Ohh..That was getting confusing.
Alas, but she did care. What if Arnold was to reject her love? What if Arnold brushed her aside, as he did to all the other female suitors who were deeply and as desperately in love with him as she?
Wait..She was the only suitor, AND THERE WAS NO WAY THAT ANYONE COULD BE AS DEEPLY AND DESPERTALY IN LOVE WITH HIM AS SHE WAS!
Helga stopped by a market window and fixed her bow, then starting to walk again, walking faster than before, not watching where she was going and almost getting hit by a red convertible.
"HEY WATCH WHERE YOUR GOING BUDDY!" She shook a fist, at the elderly man in the sit, from her place on the sidewalk. "I'M WAAAAAAALKKKKIIIIIING HERE!" Once again, she started to rush, ignoring everyone around her. "Inconsiderate…Just cause' he's got a convertible, he's Mr. The World revolves around me..Probably thinks he owns the street..Well guess what, you don't."
Some people were just, not as caring as Arnold.
Helga stopped, rooted in front of the school. Yes, here she was. Another day, more pain her heart had to endure. Helga dug her hand into her pocket, looking around to see if anyone was watching, making sure that no one caught a glimpse of the picture inside her golden locket.
Oooh..Arnold..Maybe..Just maybe..One day..We can be..Together.
Helga ran to the school's front doors, twirling herself around the flag pole, almost dancing. So happy, with her thoughts..Of Arnold.
"Helga, what are you doing?"
"Oh.." Helga jumped, surprised, she turned around slipping her locket back into her pocket. "Nothing..I'm just..Going to school." She plastered a fake grin on her face. "Oh isn't it a beautiful day?" She whistled, going up the school's front steps and disappearing behind the doors.
Gerald shook his head. "That girl is weird." He turned, ready to head inside himself, but a something glinted, in the sun's light. Something shiny..Something..Gold?
"A locket?" Probably Helga's..Because wasn't that where she was just standing, moments before? He scratched his head, well, he'd better give it back.
But hey..Why would Helga Pataki have a locket anyway? He thought the girl had ice running through her veins, and earlier, did she seem almost..Nervous? Gerald pried the locket open.
Seeing, what was inside, caused Gerald to screech like a girl. "OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOD!"
