Disclaimer: We do not have possession of any of the characters from Pirates of the Caribbean, we did not generate the motion picture scheme, we do not possess Orlando Bloom, or Johnny Depp, and we are not pirates. On the other hand, the suggestion for this particular tale was generally ours, with a quantity of facilitate from the inventor of the film. And, we disincline to acquiesce to your request (means 'no').

A/N: We were trying to write another story when we came up with this brilliant plan. It's just another work from our incredibly insane brains. Enjoy.

Oh, by the way, we might have messed with time a bit. Was Jack off the island by the time this scene happened? If so, we're absolutely sorry we screwed up. Just enjoy the story and don't think about accuracy of time.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of Elizabeth Swann

Elizabeth was standing on the deck of the ship, singing.

"Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for. . ." she took a deep breath, then, in a VERY, VERY high opera sounding voice, belted out, "ME!!!"

The men on the ship moaned in anguish and clamped their hands to their ears.

And still Elizabeth sang.

Nearby, a ship exploded into fiery pieces, killing everyone on board, except for one young boy, who fell into the water, unconscious.

And still Elizabeth sang.

A little farther away, on a pirate ship called the Black Pearl, the crew were rolling around, screaming in agony. Surely this sound, this wretched sound, was some sort of curse.

And still Elizabeth sang.

On an island in the middle of nowhere, Captain Jack Sparrow fell screaming onto the sand. There he lay, twitching, wondering if he should use his single shot to kill himself and let the misery end.

And still Elizabeth sang.

And back in Port Royale, the villagers were running around screaming, making any sort of noise possible to block out this high pitched shriek.

And still Elizabeth sang.

Miles upon miles away, people were dropping dead in the streets.

And still Elizabeth sang.

Captain Jack Sparrow, still on his island, screamed louder than before when his bottle of rum shattered before him. His cries of "MY RUM!!!" were lost in the inhuman wailing.

And still Elizabeth sang.

The pirate crew on the Black Pearl unfurled their sails and wished desperately they could sail faster.

And still Elizabeth sang.

And back on her own ship, all the men's wigs were flying off their heads as she gave one final burst of air to the note and stopped singing.

The world was silent for a minute (minus Jack who was still mourning the loss of his rum). Everyone was hardly daring to believe the torture had stopped. Suddenly, rejoicing was heard from every corner of the earth.

Elizabeth's father shook his head and muttered, "Very nice, my dear," before collapsing on the deck in pure exhaustion.

Young Elizabeth smiled. Then she noticed something on the water.

"A boy!" she shrieked. "A boy in the water!"

And the rest is history. . .
