Caring

"Sorry..Ran" The little boy muttered ruefully in his mouth, over and over again as he hid himself behind the wall and watches the girl who always appears beside the gate of the hunted house. The little boy with his little gentlemen suit, wearing a large pair of glasses which doesn't really seems to belong to a kid like him. He was a child at the age of 7 or higher with a big pair of blue, marble, intelligent eyes. His eyes seem to be looking thorough everything, everyone like he knows exactly what every one was thinking about. His unusual eyes make him looks as if he wasn't a child at all, but a very mature adult. His face was pale, compare to the girl he was watching, his face were more pale, as if a block of white paint was spread on him. Black was the color of his hair, just like the girl, the girl whose name is Ran, who always appears mysteriously beside the gate of the hunted house, looking as if she was waiting for someone, and the girl who seems to be very important to him than anything or anyone else.

He was always there, behind the wall in the street where he could hide himself and where it could also let him watch Ran from far away. Every time when Ran appears beside the hunted house again, he stays with her, watching her with his tender eyes, caring her from far away. He stays with her every time until she leaves late in the night, then he follows her, walking gently and slowly, trying to letting he show in front of her. Every time when he saws Ran waiting for him beside the hunted house, his eyes were filled nothing but guilt and sadness, looking as if he was the one who made her wait in this stormy cold whether.

Ran ignores the whether even though she seems to like a snow lady already. She was waiting for someone who was not only important to her, but someone who she loves. He seems to be the same, waiting in the hard whether, for someone he loves. No matter how cold the whether is, he was as determined as her, he continued to wait for her even though the snow had nearly turned him into snow men.

Suddenly, from far away, Ran was pushed on the snowy ground by the wind. He had a sudden thought of rushing over to her, to give her energy and to help her stand up again. But, he stopped; he remembered he was not supposed to show up. He punched the wall hardly, to spread all his anger out, he was angry at his useless appearance, that he couldn't even show up to help Ran. The wall was being punched so hard as if it was going to crack, the wall is not the only thing that was damaged, and so was his hand. His hand was soon covered with blood, same with his heart.

He was not the only one who was hurt deeply. Cold tears were now following down in the girl's pair of eyes; it seems as if she spread out all her anger and all her sadness. The boy looked in his rueful eyes, looking as if he was the one who was hurt, not her. He was hurt as much as her, because he loved her deeply. He hesitates for a moment, and then realizes that Ran was moving to the way back home, she finally gives up. Her eyes were clear without feelings as if she was dead. He hurried over to her, without thinking, he rushed in front of her, handing over the umbrella he had been holding for a long time, he had prepared it for her.

"Sister Ran, here, take this with you." He said gently to her. "Thank you, Conan." She smiled, for the very first time she had being waiting; she felt a sudden happiness in her heart.
