Harry Potter was curled up against a cold dark corridor corner crying.
"I can't believe Sirius died, I was supposed to be with him after the feast and on to the Hogwarts train." he thought.
Then he realized the feast was almost over. He didn't dare go out to check without every face pointing ,staring or saying "Are the rumors true??"
"Besides my parents. Sirius was the only one who understood me, someone who knew me since the day I was born, someone who would know me without even meeting me."
He stopped thinking and then realized there was one way, a way to be with his parents, and Sirius at the same time. He didn't care about what Dumbledore said anymore. He had no idea how he was feeling, and being watched over his every move.
"Death has to be better than this, I can be with Sirius and my parents again. I wouldn't of minded if Voldemort killed me while trying to possess me, I've had enough pain, I'm ending it. The broken mirrors pieces from Sirius 2 way mirror could work.."
Harry darted straight to his Gryffindor dormitory and searched his trunk until he found the shattered mirror pieces at the bottom. He grabbed the largest piece and put the corner to his wrist. He was about to slice right through his wrist when he heard a sneering voice.
"Am I interrupting anything Mr.Potter?"
Harry dropped the broken mirror piece and it shattered into dust.
"P-Professor Snape?" Harry said in surprise.
"If your going to think about killing yourself, you really shouldn't do it right next the Potions classroom, and even you know I am an Occlumens"Snape sneered.
Harry closed his eyes in grief. How could he have been so upset not to even think of where he was going? Then he realized.
Snape heard everything he was thinking. And if he heard everything he was thinking then he heard him crying...
"Really Potter, even I would think you wouldn't do something like this. So this is Gryffindor bravery? Just kill yourself and run away from your troubles. Some respect you have for the Gryffindor name, Potter."Snape scowled.
Harry was too familiar of how Snape would try to get something out of you. But he isn't going to take his insults anymore, and before he realized what he was doing he was standing up and looking straight into Snape's eyes.
"Do you have any idea how I feel?! Everyone who loves me is ending up dead! First my parents, then Cedric, now Sirius, and who knows who's going to be next! Death looks like a game of exploding snap at this point in my life Professor!" Harry yelled angrily.
Harry saw Snape close his eyes for a moment, then he said something in a voice he never heard from Snape before.
"I know it is a difficult time for you, but you just can't run away from life like that" Snape said calmly
It was too much for Harry. It felt like no one understood how he was feeling. He didn't care about what people thought about him anymore. Before he knew it tears were flowing down his cheeks.
"I'm all alone in this aren't I? Was all Harry could say between sobs.
Snape walked over and sat next to him and hugged him tight. And Harry hugged him back. He never got a hug like this since Mrs. Weasely's hug in the 4th year. And somehow, it felt comforting that he knew Sirius, even if they were enemies.
"Harry, your never alone" Was the last thing Snape said before kissing him lightly on the cheek.
