A/N:The Dido song,'My Lovers Gone', inspired me. Along with all this great
angst that Yana's been writing latly. I also needed to get this angst out of my
system so I can write this very fluffy sequal/follow up peice, for 'Cryin'
Shoulder', that I got the idea for from a picture of my dad and my older
brother as a baby. So this will have to hold you over for a little while 'till
I get that writen.
Disclaimer:I don't own the characters or the song.
Pairing: Calleigh/?(most likly speed)

My lover's gone, his boots no longer by my door,
He left at dawn, and as i slept i felt him go
Returns no more, I will not watch the ocean,
My lover's gone, no earthly ships will ever bring him home again.
My lover's gone, I know that kiss will be my last,
No more his song, the tune upon his lips has passed
I sing alone, while I watch the ocean,
My lover's gone, no earthly ships will ever bring him home again, bring him
home again.

The fog had rollen in, and the wind was at gale force, though Calleigh still
stode on the getty. Her long blonde hair whipped around her in the strong wind.
The tears spilled down her face. She turned away from the water and walked back
toward the parking lot to head back to her now empty house.
He had been gone a week and she still came out to the spot she knew he had
come.
He had left in the middle of the night, knowing exactly what he was going to do.
His body washed up on the same jetty that he had ended his life on, three days
later.
She had come everyday for a week after his death, but today was going to be the
last. She knew that he was never coming home again. She excepted that her lover
was gone. She excepted that his boots wouldn't sit by her door anymore.
And that exceptance ment that she would no longer watch the water to see him
come home safely.
He was never coming home again.
He would never again sing her to sleep after one of her horrifying nightmares.
He would never be there to see their baby be born. He would never be the father
she knew he was more than capable of being.
He was gone forever.
Her love was gone...
