Disclaimer: I own none of this. I only built the character named "Hazel".
JK Rowling owns everything.
A Whole Chimaera
A soft breeze rustled Hazel's sandy hair as she sat on the lush grass, scanning through "An In-dept Look at Hogsmede" which she had purchased in the place itself during the last Hogsmede trip.
"Hmm, I don't think this'll be very good. There's nothing mentioning passageways into Hogsmede from Hogwarts. Let's face it they're totally secret and we're never going to find a way to get to Hogsmede without people noticing, Lily." Hazel sighed, closing the book and staring at Lily.
"They manage it. The marauders. They're always coming into the common room with crates of butterbeer, showing off." Lily huffed.
"Don't be horrible about them, give them some credit, Lily. No teacher has caught them. Maybe the marauders will even tell us about some passageways into Hogsmede. That way, we could actually have some fun!" Hazel was half laughing at Lily, who hated the marauders for no apparent reason.
"What, ask Potter and co. for help? I'd rather eat a whole chimaera, providing it didn't consume me first," came Lily's irritated reply. "Stupid, stuck up Potter."
"Look Lily, it's James!" Hazel exclaimed, breath taken at the sight of the handsome sixth year, James.
"I can hardly contain my joy." Lily mumbled sarcastically, her head in her hands, desperate to think of a way out of Hogwarts.
Upon noticing Lily with her head in her hands, James strode over and enquired, "Are you okay, Evans?" in a concerned tone.
"I was, but then you came over." Lily replied angrily.
"Oh, she's an aggressive one!" James winked at Hazel, who nearly fainted.
"What's this book? An In-dept Look at Hogsmede? You shouldn't be reading that rubbish; you should be asking us. We know heaps about Hogsmede. Isn't that right, Sirius?" James gestured for Sirius Black, a very fetching sixth year, and best friend of James, to come over.
"She'd rather eat a whole chimaera than ask you lot about secret passageways from Hogwarts to Hogsmede, she said so earlier." Hazel grinned, poking Lily.
"Aw, really?" James asked.
"Really."
"Well, why don't you come with us marauders tonight at, ohhh, 8? We'll show you the best passageway. Lily can come too if she wants." Sirius smiled at Hazel.
