Disclaimer: Are these really necessary? I don't own anything, except my imagination =P
Now you may be asking, "what the hell is this about?" Well, Tsukasa is not the same person he is in the series. In some ways, he is worse than he was when we first see him. This is mainly an explaniation for his attitude, and his charac-ter. So many times, I've seen fics where Tsu is OoC. In this he really isn't, for the fact that you can see him change.
I first wrote this as a beginning of a series, and at the start he is seemingly being driven insane. So read on, my brave readers!
Giri giri no boku - to the Edge and back
---------------------------------------
Giri giri no boku*-
You're driving me to the edge
So stop it
Zakenayo* onegai
I never said I wanted
To be bothered
You're so cheery, so fiesty,
I just can't fathom your attitude
It's almost as if I've become
A part of this world - And that's not
A good thing, I'm now cold-blooded
Yes I'm insane but I think that
My psychosis can be helped
I don't wanta be a killer
Neither a destroyer
It's the fact that our personalities clash
You're bringing out the worst in me
It's inadvertant, you're oblivious
To the damage this can bring
Ah Mimiru I think I was, too.
But I'm beggining to like it
The smile you have on your lips oftentimes
You seem so smug
Just right for me
For you see that
I can't recall a time where I was like that at all
There was no light in this world just for me
Now, now I believe I've found what it is I've been lacking
That light --- it's you, Mimiru
How could I have been so blind
If you were an asp you'd have bit me
Then I'd be poisoned and die
And I do believe that that would have occured long ago.
I know, to you my dear,
It didn't seem that I'd ever come around
However to your surprise & delight I have --
And here am I standing now,
All for you.
*Giri giri no boku = "I am being driven to the very edge of my sanity." Giri by itself means duty or obligation. So it could also be "This duty is pushing me to the edge." But when said twice, it is the edge of your sanity. Definition courtesey of Centigrade-J =)
*Zakenayo = "Quit fucking with me." This is can be heard often in Tokyo, and is also the title of a book of Japanese slang ^^'
