Disclamer: I do not own anything associated with Harry Potter...well I do own the plot of this story but that's it. If its worth suing, its worth reviewing.
A/N: this is my second attempt at a fanfic....please review!!!

Harry Potter was thrilled for this day. He was finally allowed to leave number 4 Privet Drive. The Dursleys didn't even try to hide their excitement.
"Come on boy!" roared Uncle Vernon as he snatched Harry's trunk from him.
Aunt Petunia hurried Dudley into the car and got in herself.
Vernon came back after stuffing the trunk into the car and tried to grab Hedwig's cage as well. When Harry refused to give Hedwig up, he growled "get in the car, dammit."
They arrived at the station and as soon as Harry was out of the car, they sped off. Harry sighed and ran through the barrier to platform nine and three quarters.
Hermione spotted him immediately. She ran to him and he was immediately confined into a tight hug.
"Nice to see you too, Hermione," he gasped, barely able to breathe.
"Oh Harry! I've missed you so. I was so worried, with you losing Sirius and everything."
The memories flooded back, and Harry found himself stumbling back from Hermione. He felt tears behind his eyes, fighting to escape.
No, he told himself, not at the station. Not in front of everyone. Especially not in front of Hermione.
Despite all his efforts, a single tear slid down his cheek. He quickly wiped it away, but not quick enough.
"Oh Harry, Im sorry. I didn't mean to...I mean...I thought you....Oh Harry!" she hugged him again.
Harry pulled himself away from her and turned around to see the Weasleys entering the platform.
"RON!" he called out.
He hurried over to where Ron was and was greeted by everyone.
"How have you been dear?" Mrs Weasley asked.
Harry avoided answering by turning to where Fred and George were passing out free samples.
"How's the joke shop?" he asked.
"Its going great!" Fred exclaimed.
"Care for a few Nosebleed Nougats? Or maybe a couple Puking Pastilles? Maybe a Fainting Fancy" George offered.
"They've been perfecting them all summer," Ron explained.
"Sure why not" Harry said. He bought a few of each. "They might come in handy" he added.
They heard the all too familiar warning whistle telling them that the Hogwarts Express was about to leave.
Harry hurried to the usual compartment, accompanied by Hermione, Ron, and Ginny.
As soon as they got settled, the train started moving, and they were on their ways, once again, to Hogwarts.
***************************************************** yea yea, the chapters kinda short, but I hope its ok. I'll try to add on another one before I go to bed tonight. Please review!!!
