Small arms moved through the covers and found him. Sometimes he
forgot just how tiny Hiei really was. But there was a strength to him- he
was a demon after all, so his grip was strong and unyielding. But Kurama
didn't mind. He loved hiei, and never wanted him to leave- never wanted to
leave him. his grip was just as tight.
He didn't care that their love was considered unnatural- love was love. And when it chose two people, why fight it? Simply because the one you love is "inappropriate?" It had taken him a while to convince his bed partner though. But now it was done and Hiei was convinced. Immorality didn't stop them from loving each other.
Hiei looked up at him, his large, brown eyes impassive. They betrayed no emotions, but Kurama knew what he was thinking. In his stoicism, Hiei clearly declared his love for Kurama. A smile crept onto the redhead's face. Hiei felt so small in his arms! Like a child, which only helped to increase Kurama's feeling of perversion. But that feeling was relatively small and easy to ignore in light of his love for Hiei. He just hoped Yusuke and Kuwabara never found out. Even though they had stopped working together, they still kept in touch with Yusuke and his wife, Keiko. Kuwabara had disappeared . No one had been able to find him or Yukina for thirteen months, although there was almost no doubt as to what they were doing. None of that mattered now. Kurama and Hiei were finally able to express their feelings for each other. At last allowed to ;show a love that before could only be expressed in stolen whispers.
Kurama wrapped his arms about Hiei's tiny waist. and pulled him close. He issued another of those stolen whispers- their final one.
"I love you."
A simple, yet resounding sentence. The greatest three words that any one person can say to another.
