Invisable

Author's notes: I have a Stargate on my wall! Anyway, on with the story. Thanks to my beta Paula!

SG-1 were all sat around in their offices/labs. None of them were doing anything of great significance, and they were all bored. Jack, for once, was not the first person to do something to alleviate this boredom, and about the problem that caused the boredom. It was Teal'C.

"O'Neill, why is it that everything on base has become invisible?"

Jack almost jumped out of his invisible chair when Teal'C made his presence known.

"T, don't do that! Unless it's on an enemy of course."

"I am sorry O'Neill, but I was enquiring into the reason why we have nothing to do."

"I know T, it's nothing to do with me, I have just as much info on this as you."

"Should we not try to find the reason for this then?"

"Yeh, lets go see Daniel."

Whilst walking out the door, Jack fell over his bin.

"For cryin' out loud!"

Jack and Teal'C wandered into Daniel's office. It appeared that he had the same problem as Teal'C and Jack.

"Hi Daniel, see you're having problems too!"

Something like a growl let itself out of Daniel's throat. It appeared that whatever caused everything to disappear, also disappeared Daniel's coffee machine. Not good.

"Let's go see Hammond."

Jack fell over nearly everything on his way out of Daniel's office, as it was one of the most full on base.

"Ah for cryin' out loud!"

As SG-1 apart from Sam trooped through the base, it appeared that everything had disappeared, but was still there.

SG-1 marched into Hammond's office, where everything had also disappeared, to see a very ruffled looking Sam being shouted at by the General. The male members of SG-1 looked very surprised.

"Erm, General? What's Carter done?"

"An experiment gone wrong Sir."

"What do you mean?"

"Major Carter was experimenting on an alien device and somehow turned it on. The device seems to have made everything on base disappear."

Jack took a step closer to the General but walked into an invisible desk.

"That hurt. Why don't you just turn the device off?"

"That's the problem Colonel, the device has disappeared too."

"Ah crap."

Suddenly, everything on the base appeared again. Everyone jumped.

"Well, that solved that."

Everything became invisible again.

"Or not."

"Major, it looks like you have to be ready approximately where the device was, and turn it off when it becomes visible again."

"That's going to take a while."

"I know Major, so get to it!"

"Yes Sir."

A very dejected Major walked towards her lab.

"I'm going to kill the Colonel with fiddling with my tools!"

A/N: I know, a very stupid story, very pointless, very not worth writing. Ah well, please review anyway???
