Chaotic Impulse
Introduction
"You see lieutenant, things are. changing, they have a way of doing that very often. we must change for the best, and I know how we can do that. You're the only one who hasn't joined us yet. Won't you join us?" "Sir? I don't understand what you are trying to say." "I'm saying. there is only one way we are going to survive. We must be on the winning side! And, at the moment we are not. We must change our side, our allegiance; the Emperor has clouded our minds. He lies to us, deceiving us for his own gain!" "Are you saying we should join the ranks of chaos? That is treason! Are you mad? We'll all be killed! How could you even ponder something of that nature? And do you believe the men will follow you in your decent into the darkness?" "On the contrary lieutenant, they are already behind me. You are the outcast! You must join us! I would surely hate to loose a good officer to the lies and deceit of the false Emperor!" "You're insane!" The lieutenant said as he stumbled backwards, trying to leave the Captain's tent.
He made it out of the tent, still shocked at what his commander had just said to him. He turned around and was knocked back. He was horrified as he looked up to see a hulking Space Marine standing over him.
The Captain came out of the tent. "This is Anisha, a Sorcerer from the Thousand Sons. You see, our Chaos brothers have come to aid us in our fight!" "No! You would turn your back on the Imperium? This will not stand!" The Lieutenant cried as he pulled out his laspistol, but was struck down by a shot from a bolt pistol. The shot echoed through the air as several men looked over to see the Lieutenants head bounce back from the force of the point blank shot. "I trust this is the last of the unfaithful." Said a voice that emanated from the lifeless glowing eyes of the Sorcerer. His glowing eyes, which matched the color of his royal blue armor, did not shift as he put his pistol back and put it into a holster on his hip. "Y-yes, m'lord." The Captain said. "Good, mobilize your men, we shall soon test your faith." "How is that, sir?" "The garrison at the city of Nalsa must be taken out, and we shall be the ones to do it. With the garrison taken out the city will fall, and with the Capitol taken, the planet shall soon follow."
The Captain gave to order to mobilize, and men began scrambling around, packing up tents and loading them onto Chimeras and Leman Russ battle tanks. A group of bikers took off to scout the road ahead. And several prisoners were brought out and executed, before the fire squad took a seat inside a Chimera. "Captain, this is the beginning of a new era, the time of Chaos has come, and you shall be rewarded for your aid after we have won."
