Duelist: A Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy
"Mad-Sword Beast! Destroy his hidden Monster!"
The huge lumbering beast thumped over the metal landscape and charged into the shadows there. There was a roar, and the shadows dissipated. There, where the shadow was, was the sword beast, stomping on the corpse of its Rogue Doll foe.
This was the finals of the regional Duel Monsters tournament. Our hero, Dagger, was the owner of the Rogue Doll, and was now at 3450 Life Points. His opponent, a local Dueling Tyrant by the name of Kriyan, had 6000 life points. However, this difference did not faze Dagger. Dagger, as always, had a solution.
"You know, Kriyan, for someone so sharp, you sure do make your share of mistakes," said Dagger mockingly.
"Why you little punk! No one speaks to Kriyan like that! Why I ought to." began Kriyan. Then he stopped for a moment, and smirked. "'Mistake', you say? And what 'mistake' might we be talking about?"
"Leaving yourself completely defenseless, fool. You have no magic or traps to protect you but one, and that, I'm guessing, will not stop my little attack on you," Dagger smiled. This match was in the bag.
"First I'll play the Dark Hole card," said Dagger, placing a green card on the electronic dueling computer. The whole area went black, and the Sword- Beast was sucked into the blackest area of the field, squealing and growling and roaring all at the same time. "And then," continued Dagger, not fazed in the least. "I will use Monster Reborn to bring back my deceased Summoned Skull!"
The ground shook, and soon a crack opened up in the ground. A clawed hand reached up from the crack, grabbing onto the nearby soil. It pulled up a huge demonic figure, all bone and muscle, with an evil grin and huge horns. Suddenly, a sword appeared in the huge corpse's clawed hand.
"What the." yelled Kriyan, shocked. "Summoned Skulls don't have swords!"
"This one does. Now, anyway. And not just any sword: The Sword of Deep Seated, increasing his attack power to 3000! In two turns , you will be dead! Now, my demon, attack Kriyan directly!"
The huge rotting demon flew towards the petrified Kriyan. He sliced right at the podium Kriyan stood at, but something went wrong.
"Oh no! The sword! It's turned into a staff!" exclaimed Dagger.
"Why yes, it has," said Kriyan. "Allow me to explain. That is the Magic Javelin your wretched Skull holds, and it heals me as much as me hurts me, negating your attack!"
The rod glowed a deep pink, and began showering Kriyan in a waterfall of pink. Soon, the pink turned to purple, and then black, and then, instead of enjoying the shower, Kriyan was flinching at every drop.
"Aaggh!" yelled Kriyan. "Bad Reaction to Simochi! My body is rejecting the white magic like poison. Argh!" Dagger collapsed on the machine just as the last life point left his count. Paramedics rushed in, picked up the unconscious body of Kriyan, and rushed him to the nurse. Kriyan was not worried. Like all other opponents, Kriyan would be back for more. He walked over to the judges and simply stated, "May I have my prize money now?"
The Judges gave him a bag filled with gold coins. He looked inside at them, and smiled. Just another day in Dagger's life. Another match, another pay, another card. Life was always that way. And as Dagger walked slowly home, he thought, "I wouldn't have it any other way,"

Also, if you send your deck in, I may include it in a duel, but be forewarned, most likely you WILL get your arse kicked by Dagger. Also, please e-mail all decks, don't send them in via review. Thanks!
