The ETERNAL Lost Boy
By: Riyuji

Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Ranma ½ characters or the animé itself. I am nothing more than a happy-go-lucky kid who becomes over obsessive with many things that could result into a fatal display of 'ahem' hyperness! Go cower in fear for one day I shall take over the world! *Gets hit with the frying pan of doom* Itai!

Author's Notes: I'm happier than usual today. I must be that I'm still happy that I found my tiny paper replica of P-Chan! Go me! It's that and because I haven't had a decent serving of food since last night and it's already dinnertime. *Sigh*

The wind was blowing west causing the palm trees to sway ever so gracefully. The white sands were spread out as far as the eye could see and people of all ages fought against the rough waves just to have their part of the fun. I bet you'll be thinking of a place such as Hawaii, no? Unfortunately, I was talking about the Philippines. In truth, we're not supposed to be in this part of the Philippines. We're supposed to be in a school field.

After a blink of the eye we are brought into the school field, thanks to Fanfiction Enabled Magic. It was an unusually bright, rainy day a perfect time to roll around in the mud and just get filthy. The scent of 'decaying vegetable matter' that came from the mud filled the nostrils of those who sat at the sidelines. The many high school students who wanted to join the game occupied the field. Suddenly something was thrown into the air.

The silence took everyone. All eyes were redirected to the spinning object in mid-air. All breaths were haggard gasps for air. The tension was slowly building up, as the object seemed nothing more than a blur and everything or everyone in the vicinity moved in slow motion. Each second was as if it was more than an eternity… if there is something more than that.

You may have thought that the object is a spacecraft of some sort. If you agree with this I'm sorry to say that you are wrong.

The object is unseen by the spectators as it hit the wet, murky ground. There was a dramatic pause then… screams erupted from both sides of the not so green, grassy field. No, they didn't see a poisonous snake or spider. It was one of the most improbable things you could think of because… it was a shoe.

The sidelines laughed and cheered as a huge group of students ran to catch their opponent on the other side. The chaos was possibly more dangerous than a stampede of water buffaloes in heat. Walking into it would be fatal. Apparently, the bandanna-clad boy in the center of the turmoil hadn't known any better.

A wall of hyperactive teenagers fell over the boy, trampling over him. As the crowd moved away and the dust clear, a mustard-yellow color was seen implanted to the dirt. A leg twitched in the air indicated the pain he was in. There was a clear pattern on his face and the rest of his mangled body. He mumbled something to the sky and for some reason it sounded like "F-Fu-Furinkan doko da?"

It was just another day in the life of Ryoga Hibiki. The least he could do is thank the weather for remaining like that. Oh-no, I guess I spoke too soon.

Author's Notes: Don't get me wrong. Ryoga is my favorite character in the Ranma series/manga.

The game that was mentioned by the way was 'Vector Vector Kastila.' I'm not so sure how to explain it but is it really needed? Just think of it as a combination of heads or tails and tag. Please Review!

Glossary: Furinkan doko da? -Where is Furinkan?
