Once Upon a Time, Happiness Rained

Once upon a time, there were two children born at the same time during a moon-shower. There was a little girl who was very happy and there was a little boy who was not. Both were very lonely.
On a freezing day in winter when they were five, these two met and while the girl was cheerful and excited, the boy was sad and angry. The girl was warm, colorful, brown, soft but the boy was cold, gray, pale and hard. The boy made the girl cry because he said he did not have anything to believe in. From then on, the boy hated the girl because she had something he didn't and the girl disliked the boy because he reminded her that not everyone was happy. Eventually, while they were still very young, the little girl's family moved far away and she forgot about the little boy who made her sad.
A long time later, the little girl found her way back to the little boy, neither of which were very little anymore. They met again at a school and when they met they immediately despised each other. The boy would call her names and the girl would embarrass him, while every time, their friends watched and laughed.
However, all the time that they spent fighting, the teachers saw in them the potential to change each other for better. So, one dark and gloomy afternoon in mid spring, a teacher caught them fighting and instead of issuing them detention or calling their parents, she sat them down and told them to face each other and tell the other what it was that made them so angry, and left the room.
The girl spoke first, loud and condescending, saying she didn't hate him, but that she hated what he stood for. He made her think of all the bad in the world, of everything she wanted to get rid of. He made her feel cold and alone. He scared her. She wanted to change him.
He sat long after her tirade, staring at her before he spoke softly and emotionlessly. He hated her because she hurt him by looking at him. She made him feel like he wouldn't have to be alone, even when he was. Mostly, he hated her because she scared him. He was afraid she might change him.
They sat in silence. Then, the girl said she couldn't change him if she tried. She wouldn't know where to start. He stared at her for a moment. He wouldn't know either. And then he did something he'd never ever done before. He smiled at her. She tried to smile back, but she couldn't. He had stolen her happiness from her.
After that day, he began to hate him. How dare he take what was hers? He began to not quite hate her. She was what made him happy. That day, it snowed in May. Some weeks later, the girl confronted him. She told him that she wanted her happiness back - she was lost without it. He just smiled at her and said that he didn't know how to give it back. The girl was sad. She looked at him with icy brown eyes and asked him to kiss her, to let her feel the happiness even if she couldn't have it back.
He did, and she could smile again. When he pulled away, she was still smiling and so was he. They were both sad but they were happy because now, they had someone to share themselves with. And outside, the sun was shining through a sheet of rain.
AN: A moon-shower is a like a sun-shower, except that you substitute one for the other. There is no lightening, no thunder, no clouds, just rain. This was supposed to be based off of Draco and Hermione. I'm not entirely sure it fits, but oh well. It wasn't made specifically for the use of fanfiction, so, sorry if it's weird. Hope you enjoyed! Dedicated to all the Leo's in my group: Lo, Cris, and Kat. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to all of you! And to everyone else! ::cough::GeminisRule::cough:: hehe... Love and PEACE! Ja ne!
