Susie was walking along the path one day
When she saw Calvin hiding behind a tree
He beckoned to her and when she came,
He said "Shhh. I don't want anyone to see."

"See what?" She asked with a look around
But nowhere close was anyone to be found.

She sighed and was about to leave
When Calvin quickly grabbed her arm
"No, don't go. I want to show you something.
Don't worry you won't come to any harm."

Susie rolled her eyes and came with him
He led her through the leaves and tree limbs

"Stand here." He said and left her there
And on his child face was an evil grin.
"She now will be bombarded with apples
From the top of her head to her shin."

Calvin ducked behind a tree and said to Hobbes
"Let's see the quality of your right hand lobs."

"But you promised nothing would happen.
You would break your promise over some fun?"
Calvin looked over at Susie and said with a shrug.
"Who cares? I just look out for number one."

And with a well-aimed toss of the hand
On Susie's head that apple did land.

Susie clutched her head and cried aloud.
And, with a sniffle, starting running home
She ran through the woods and to her house.
And meanwhile Calvin laughed at each moan.

"Metals all around." He shouted and yelled.
And after, a magnificent ceremony was held.
