Dear Diary,
Are Gordo and I compatible as more than just friends? Do we have enough in common to keep us together? Gordo's the intellectual-type who loves to read. I like to read too, but I read children's books such as Nancy Drew, Harry Potter and Eloise. Gordo spends his time reading books assigned to high school and college students, such as One Hundred Years of Solitude and On the Road. I'm always so concerned about fitting in and becoming popular and wearing the latest style of clothes. That superficial stuff doesn't matter to Gordo. He prides himself on doing his own thing. He is so passionate about being a film director, and already knows that's what he wants to do with his life. He has dreams and goals and is persuing them. I have no idea what I want to do with my life.
When we got married as a class project, there were no real sparks between us. I mean I spent the entire time just obsessing about Ethan. But on the other hand, I did say that best friends equals best marriages.
Gordo is a great friend and I trust him with all my heart. He means the world to me. But you know if things don't work out, nothing will ever be the same. Well I'm overanalyzing things too much. I guess I'll just see what happens.

Well gotta go, Lizzie
