Disclaimer: I do not own Hikaru no Go, anyone may own it, but definitely not me.

A/N: For Joanne (Joey), since she desperately needs a Hikaru no Go fic without someone dying or leaving. My fic is still, sort of dealing with someone leaving, but at least…, well, I could blame it on my English monologues. I abuse the ellipses…. *sniffles* *looks embarrassed* and its horribly choppy.

By the way, to Joanne's brother who's reading this. Please study hard for your PSLE and don't worry your sis. (And don't be so evil as to stealing ur sis's e-mail account to write) Good luck too for PSLE.

For Lanze too, since he was the one who first pointed me in the direction of Hikaru no Go. (I still like CCS better…)

I can't believe it ended with mild hinty shounen-ai. All the AkiHika fics influenced me. *sniffles* I've been corrupted.

Hope you all enjoy this…

Hikaru looked out of the window at the flying fish flags.

May 5th again… time sure flies. I wonder how you are now…

The days we spent together are still vivid in my mind as if they happened yesterday. Like the time, you've found this rock for me to try placing on the ground, because you believed in me. But when I tried, it went flying.

The times I was a real brat and refusing to let you play because I thought Go was boring.

Or the time when I was blinded by my own strength, never realising how amazing your strength is, and only cared about playing myself.

Slowly, he took out the Goban and set it up carefully.

Time flies… things have changed so much, and there's so much I want to tell you.

I still don't understand why you have to leave.

Didn't you say you want to play forever?

Didn't you say you want to achieve the Hand of God?

Didn't you…

He paused in his actions.

Or was it because…

Your job is done.

As a god of Go…

To train the weaker players to be worthy opponents?

He slowly began recreated the game that they had never managed to finish.

Even though you've left, you still existed within my Go.

Was that why you had left a bit of yourself in me?

So that I could continue Go?

As if telling me that you have not quitted Go either?

Hikaru stared mutedly at the game he'd finished recreating.

I wonder…

How you are now?

Are you… happy?

The knocking on his door broke his line of thoughts.

"Come in…"

It was Akira.

He bowed politely in his usual fashion, "Sorry to come uninvited. I just thought that it was weird that you did not come today to play in the Go Salon. You don't have a game today, do you? I've checked… " It was then that he caught sight of the Goban, "Sorry. Are you waiting for someone?"

"Hmm…?" Hikaru shook his head lightly, "Nah… he… left."

He paused meditatively at the uncompleted game on the Goban.

He turned to Akira with a wistful smile on his face, "Would you like to continue this game?"

Akira was taken back, he knew better than to ask Hikaru why. He sat at the other end of the Goban. "Onegaishimasu," he bowed.

"Onegaishimasu."

Touya found you.

Sai.

It's correct since you are inside the Go I play.

But he never did know that I played him…

Because he was the only one that could bring out that Sai in me.

Sai…

From the heavens above…

Look over me and watch me grow.

And please, keep that smile…
