I am- like actually flabbergasted by this story. I was originally going to just leave it here, as a relic of the past, and I still plan on doing that. But there are a few things I want to address before I do that.
First off to everyone who said they enjoyed this. Uh- thanks I guess? I mean I can't really look back at it without cringing but maybe that's just my perfectionism showing. I wrote this when I was 12 and it was my first ever attempt at fan-fiction. At the time of posting I got mainly positive reviews even though I was really inexperienced.
I'm incredibly lucky that the hate didn't come until I was much older and able to handle that kind of stuff. I was actually astonished at how many more reviews I got since I last updated and decided to read through them... it was super funny to me as an adult. But if I was still 12? Oh my god my heart would have broken.
So this may sound preachy. But if your going to give criticism be nice about it. Don't go calling the writer a retard that should just be common sense. I have nothing against constructive criticism but it should be just that, constructive. Not slinging insults at people just to sling them.
In any case, I'm not here to just tell off one or two people, though the lack of manners that some people have was really bugging me, I'm also here to thank everyone who supported the story, and favorited, and followed.
So even though I'm never going to finish this story I am going to give an extensive timeline of the planned story and finale. If anyone, and I mean anyone, wants to pick it up and write it themselves be my guest! Feel free to change details if you wish this is just how I imagined the story going.
A scientist, named Michelle, had been working on a type of wormhole technology meant to be used as a form of teleportation. Wanting to show off her creation she promised to give tours of the lab. Ryan wrangled his friend Jimmy into coming with him and the two went on the tour. With them were two other people, who were previously unaffiliated. Zach and Simone. Midway through the tour Michelle shows off the wormhole machine and Ryan sees it as an opportunity to escape the monotony of his daily life. He lags behind the rest of the group and plans to use to the machine to escape into another world, fully aware that he most likely wouldn't survive the encounter.
He ends up getting caught however but it's too late to stop the machine. Everyone in the lab gets sucked into the wormhole and takes over someone from the Narutoverse.
Michelle becomes Terumi Mei
Zach becomes Haku
Simone becomes Temari
Jimmy becomes a Civilian in Kumo
And Ryan becomes Naruto
Naruto/Ryan then goes onto live his life, his memories are jumbled from the warp, but he remembers just about everything in a year's time.
At the academy he becomes friends with Shino Aburame on his first day at the acadmey and Hiruzen assumes that his new behavior is an attempt at keeping his new friend close. As he has many other duties as Hokage he doesn't really pay much more attention to Naruto or his changes in personality. As soon as he befriends Shino he also gets closer to the rest of the Rookie 9.
His actions cause the 9 to have subtle shifts to their personalities and skillsets as well. Ino gains an interest in pranks, Sasuke and Shino become pseudo friends and rivals, Sakura and Ino never start their rivalry, and having an actual friend group does wonders for Hinata's confidence.
Since Naruto already knew Mizuki was a traitor he had no qualms with exposing his tampering with his new friend group, most of which were filled with clan children. This leads to Mizuki getting removed by Danzo's ROOT operatives.
Shisui, who had been on what the ANBU call Naruto duty since Ryan first took over his body manages to convince Itachi to take a short break from proper missions and watch over the kid. Itachi however finds something a bit too strange about his behavior and decides to search Naruto's apartment. There he and Shisui find a journel written in English which describes future events as well as details of Ryan's past. (Nothing about the wormhole tech as he hasn't remembered that much yet.) The duo confront Naruto/Ryan after translating the code.
Ryan asks how they managed to read the journal and learns that English exists in the world of Naruto but is used more as a code than a language. After a long conversation Shisui and Itachi decide that the future knowledge is more helpful than detrimental and decide to change details of the massacre
Around this time the Naruto v Ino prank war begins. Which is used primarily as a chance for the main cast to bond between major events. Shortly after the start of the war Ami, the class bully, finally snaps under the pressure of being bullied in return and Sakura finds her crying in the bathroom. Remembering her own insecurities and weakness Sakura decides to forgive Ami and tries to integrate her into the group. She recognizes the prank war as the perfect chance and gets Shikamaru and Chouji on board with the idea.
After this Orochimaru sends Kidomaru to replace Mizuki as a spy. Orochimaru hardly expects Danzo to accept the boy as a spy and is more using him to as an attempt to cut ties and make life more difficult for the war hawk. Unaware of the betrayal Danzo instates Kidomaru in the academy, in Sasuke Uchiha's year, correctly assuming that he's what Orochimaru is after. Kidomaru quickly joins the group but mainly forms a bond with Kiba.
It's after this that Shisui's battle against Danzo occurs, Shisui now knowing what Danzo can do manages to escape but becomes a missing nin in the process. He decides to leave him alive in order to keep some semblance of the future intact.
Before the Uchiha massacre there are four simultaneous character arcs. Kiba and Kidomaru attempt to resurface the memories Orochimaru suppressed when he made Kidomaru his sleeper agent, Ino, Ami, and Sakura train under Anko as a way to get a head up on Naruto's team, Shino and Sasuke train together at the Uchiha compound with assistance from Itachi who wants to prepare his brother for the harsh future ahead, as a result Shono gains several C rank Earth jutsu and Sasuke learns a C rank lightning jutsu, finally we have Neji, Hinata, and Naruto training together attempting to reach the chakra control necessary to perform Genjutsu even with his monstrous reserves.
Eventually however the massacre occurs and filled with guilt about not doing more to stop it, Naruto leaves a shadow clone, a technique that Itachi had gifted to him, while his real body goes to the compound. He's followed by Shino and Hinata, who were worried about his safety, and Neji, who was worried about Hinata. At the same time Izumi leaves the compound with Sasuke. Once he's out of sight Itachi sets the compound ablaze and begins slaughtering everyone in sight. Naruto leads a group of genin to the evacuation site that Shisui set up, Neji meets with an Uchiha named Jugo who is convinced that the Hyugga is responsible for the massacre, and Shino and Hinata are found by Shisui before they can get in any trouble.
Now after this point the events have not yet been written.
Neji and Jugo fight until they meet up with Shisui's group who explains the situation. Jugo agrees to join the group and goes to assist Naruto, who had been fighting off Genin level ROOT agents with three Uchiha children, Keiko, Dosu, and Nezu. Once the ROOT agents have been cleared out Obito, under the guise of Madara appears. Shisui fights him off while Naruto and the other Uchiha evacuate using the wagons. None of the adults made it out alive so it's up to the children to escape on thier own.
Eventually Itachi finishes off the Police force and arrives to assist Shisui in his battle. Obito senses that Konoha nin are on the way and Itachi and Shisui hurry after the wagons before Obito can tamper with them, Itachi henges himself as Shisui to avoid suspicion. Once they catch up Shisui quickly takes Shino, Hinata, Neji, and Naruto to Naruto's appartment and tells them to pretend they were having a sleepover in order to hide their involvement. Once there Naruto explains his future knowledge to the three and apologizes for worrying them all and putting them in danger. Neji obviously takes this the worst of the bunch, because if what Naruto is saying is the truth then fate truly isn't as malleable as he first assumed.
A few days after the Uchiha massacre Danzo sends Jonin level ROOT agents after Izumi. ANBU guards defeat them and Danzo realizes that he can't bend Sasuke to his whims the normal way. So he instates his own spy into the academy. A week after Izumi's near assassination Sasuke re-enters the academy and alongside him is a pale boy named Sai. Naruto immediately recognizes Sai as ROOT and instigates him into their friend group hoping to cure him.
Ino finds Sai incredibly attractive and forces Shikamaru and Chouji to help her "make his personality as attractive as his face." Shikamaru agrees because he finds the sudden influx of students incredibly suspicious. Meanwhile Naruto and Ino call off the prank war after the massacre as it doesn't sit right to either of them to continue it after that kind of tragedy. Meanwhile Shino, aware of the truth of the massacre thanks to Naruto, approaches Sasuke and asks him to spar. Sasuke tells him to fuck off but Shino is strangely persistent, until he finally gets Saduke to cave and talk about what happened
End of ACT I
The day of Graduation arrives and with Mizuki gone and the Shadow Clone Jutsu already under his belt Naruto passes with flying colors. The 12 genin gather together to celebrate graduation. Sasuke is noticeably happier than he was after the massacre, though still incredibly closed off. Instead of being obsessed with revenge he wants to learn the truth from Itachi. Sai similarly, while still emotionally dense, has amiable relations with the rest of his classmates. At this point Naruto is content that he's done everything to the best of his ability.
Team assignments is next and most of the teams are exactly the same with one exception. In addition to teams 7, 8, and 10 there's Team 4 which consists of Sai, Kidomaru, and Ami. All four teams pass the jonin's test, with Team 7's test being much easier thanks to their willingness to work together. Deciding to spar after the fact to determine who gets the bells.
Wave Arc
After a slew of annoying D ranks the teams get sent off to Wave where Naruto meets Zach/Haku. The Zabuza fight goes much differently than Canon as Zabuza never actually shows up. Instead Doto from the Land of Snow movie appears in an outfit similar to the Akatsuki's but with a black and grey spiral pattern donning the full cloak. Kakashi takes him on and is severly outmatched, at this point Zabuza and Haku apprar and lend assistance. Doto retreats and the duo explain that they're here on a mission to assassinate Gato and take his fortune to fund the rebellion in Mist.
The Genin team along with Zabuza's squad return to Tazuna's house where Zach confronts Ryan about what he did to get them in this situation. Ryan admits to his mistake and Zach forgives him, admitting that as much as he misses his family and old home Zabuza treats him surprisingly well and having the kind of power he has now is strangely addicting. After settling these differences they rejoin the main group, Kakashi admits that killing Gato would be an efficient way of keeping Tazuna safe but he also states that he doesn't want to endanger the genin. Zabuza then reveals that the organization Doto works for is run by Garaki Jichiboro an S class missing nin from Kumo who leaves nothing behind but ashes of the ninja who dare oppose him. He's the only ninja with a flee on sight rating in every iteration of the Bingo Book he appears in.
Garaki's organization is called the Fukushū no hikari, or Light of Vengence, and unlike the Akatsuki they work with individual teams under their command. At the moment he's the weakest general in the organization and only employed three Chunin level ninja to assist with the mission. That mission being to kill Tazuna, and any ninja he's hired. With that new information the mission rank quickly bumps up from A to S and Kakashi wants to head back to Konoha, until Zabuza drops the bomb that Doto was given an additional order that if Kakashi's team were to arrive to prioritize thier deaths over Tazuna's.
Both Haku and Naruto realize that something is horribly wring with that and they both assume that Garaki also has knowledge of the future. Since Haku is aware that Michelle ended up as Terumi Mei Naruto assumes that Simone has to be Garaki, or someone who works for him. In any case Kakashi decides to wait until he's in better shape to attack Gato's headquarters and understanding the danger Tazuna agrees to hold off construction until everything is said and done.
About a week after the original confrontation the seige on Gato's HQ begins. The Team Seven genin and Haku stick together while Zabuza and Kakashi search for Gato and Doto. Team Seven are thus ambushed by Doto's three man team, Nadare, Mizore, and Fubuki. Meanwhile Doto met up with the two Jonin with a much more advanced version of the chakra armor he used in the movie, It's revealed that Gato had been dead for a long time and Doto was simply using his coffers to upgrade his arsenal. Henging into the buisnessman when necessary.
Nadare, being the strongest of the trio, faces off against Sasuke and Sakura together. Anko's training pushed Sakura's Taijutsu to the limits and her expert chakra control causes her to grasp the basics of Tsunade's Chakra strength during the fight. Meanwhile Sasuke's fore jutsu proved to be an effective counter to Nadare's ice jutsu. During the fight Sakura is gravely injured by one of Nadere's summoned ice beasts and Sasuke awakens his Sharingan as a result. Simultaneously Naruto chases Mizore through the halls of the building, the man's snowboard and chakra armor making him incredibly difficult to keep pinned down. Suddenly Mizore crashes into a wall and reveals that a genjutsu had fooled him into thinking the wall was a hallway. Naruto then reveals that he has chakra suppression seals all across his arms, he was never able to get enough chakra control to cast genjutsu with his full chakra supply, but with these seals he can manage it no problem. Unable to trust his own vision Naruto eventually defeats Mizore in a Taijutsu battle, with the help of Shadow clones of course. The final member of the trio was Fubuki, who Haku had some trouble with initially due to her being able to control any ice he created. His skills far surpassed Fubuki's and he was honestly just playing around with her until Sakura was injured. At which point Haku killed Fubuki with well placed Senbon and rushed to Sakura's side. He performed forst aid while Sasuke defeated and killed Nadere with his new Sharingan.
Kakashi and Zabuza's combined efforts can barely leave a scratch on the chakra armor mech that Doto had created. The machine has the ability to absorb water vapor and turn it into snow for Doto to attack with. When Zabuza used his hiding in the mist technique at the start of the fight he accidentally created a snowfield for Doto to use. After a prolonged battle Doto destroys Zabuza's sword and the missing nin becomes enraged. Doto laughs that the man is useless without his blade when Zabuza stabs the remains of his sword into his own stomach. Blood gushes out and repairs the sword. Doto is so shocked and disgusted that he doesn't have any time to react when Zabuza lunges and decapitates him.
Zabuza assumes he's going to die when Kakashi decides to bandage him up. Zabuza asks why Kakashi would do that since he was a missing nin and his brats were already safe from Doto. Kakashi explains that those who abandon their comrades are worse than trash. He then explains that bringing back his bounty wasn't part of their mission and that his genin would never let him hear the end of it if he abandoned Zabuza now. Zabuza laughs and says that he was wrong about Konoha and that when Mist becomes a proper village again that they should fight each other without the risk of death. Kakashi agrees to his terms not actually thinking that that day would ever come to pass.
After the raid on Gato's hideout construction of the bridge goes smoothly and the Konoha and Mist team part ways. Haku explains that he has to help Mei with the rebellion and that he'll see Naruto once they've made peace with Konoha. The Bridge is named the Kiri to Ha bridge, or the Mist and Leaf bridge.
Chunin Exam Arc,
All 12 Rookie Genin get nominated for an increase in rank. Naruto is most concerned about the second stage but gets a rude awakening when a more mentally stable Gaara greets him at the gate, that strange stability is then immediately compromised when his sister Temari shows an aggression towards me. She pulls Naruto close and asks for his old name, she admits to being Simone and in turn Naruto admits to being Ryan. Which only serves to piss off Temari further. Gaara promises to kill Naruto before leaving.
The Written test goes much the same way as it did in Canon but with foresight on thier side Shino and Hinata were able to sneak Naruto an Earth scroll to go with their Heaven. Sasuke and Sakura were surprised when they entered the forest with two scrolls but neither complained when they all made it to the tower in record time. Orochimaru planned to tag Sasuke on their second day in the forest but quickly had to change his plans as they were protected in the tower.
Temari tracks down the Sound team (Dosu, Zaku, and Kin) during the forest portion and has Gaara kill them with his sand coffin to prevent their involvement with the future invasion as well as the presumed attack on Sasuke. The trio then head off to the tower leaving behind a petrified team 9.
In the end with the addition of Ami's team all the same teams qualified and a preliminary round was held. The first round was the Canon fight of Kankuro vs Misumi with Kankuro being the victor. After that was Chouji vs Rock Lee, with Lee claiming an easy victory. Afterwards was Gaara vs Tenten, where the girl easily forfeits after witnessing the carnage in the forest.
The fourth round is Sakura vs Ami. Ami reveals that her teams Jonin Sensei had trained her in a very particular way. The match begins and Ami bites her thumb before summoning a human sized preying mantis. Her Jonin sensei, Genma, explained that she had an interest in summons from day one and enough training that he could skip the basic crap. Ami unsheathes a blunted blade Genma gave her for the exams and engages Sakura in a Kenjutsu battle. Sakura barely manages to parry with her kunai and is on the defensive having to fight on two fronts, both the mantis summon and Ami. Luckily the tables turn when her Inner suggests trying a Shadow clone. Sakura argues that she doesn't have enough chakra but inner talks her into it anyways. When she performs the Jutsu she doesn't feel as much drain on her chakra as she should have, and Inner explains that thier two consciousnesses resulted in two separate chakra stores. The two Sakuras attack in tandem and eventually overpower Ami and the Mantis summon winning the match.
The fifth match is Kiba vs Sai. Sai's ink techniques and general cunning was way too much for Kiba to handle and he was easily defeated. The sixth match is Kidomaru vs Naruto. A bow is strapped to Kidomaru back as he doesn't yet know how to create like he does in the Sound Four arc. He does however have access to his spider summons a skill he shows off immediately as the match starts. Naruto splits into five shadow clone versions of himself and fight off the spider while the original fights Kidomaru. The first thing Naruto did after reactivating his Chakra Restriction Seals, or CRSs, was cast a genjutsu that made Kidomaru believe he only had two arms. It isn't something he notices until the end of the fight when he looks at his spider summons and remembers that he had been given the summoning scroll due to his resemblance. But by that point it's too late. Naruto had cast a secondary Genjutsu that made him believe that the edge of the arena was much farther away. When he released the Genjutsu he saw that he was right against the stadium wall, and in his shock he left Naruto an opening to bash his head against the wall and knock him out. Winning the match.
The seventh match is Shino vs Temari, Shino puts up a decent fight thanks to his earth jutsu, but his colony was always his primary tactic and Temari's fan neutralized it completely. The eigth match is Hinata vs Ino, where one would assume Hinata would absolutely obliterate the blonde Ino reveals that working with Anko had given her a bit of an interest in seals and Asuma had been giving her some assistance in the field. She set up several traps around the arena to keep Hinata in place for her mind transfer jutsu, but Hinata's Byakugan kept her out of harms way and she was able to defeat Ino. Shikamaru makes an absolute fool out of Yoroi for the ninth match.
The final match of the prelims is Sasuke vs Neji. Neji activates his Byakugan but Sasuke refuses to activate the Sharingan saying it's pathetic to steal another clan's secret techniques. Neji appreciates the sentiment and the two begin their fight. Neji tries his best to fight against Sasuke but the lightning and fire jutsu Itachi taught him before he left combined with Kakashi's own recommended jutsu made short work of the Hyuga heir. Hearing the Hinata made it to the finals while Neji did not Hiashi finally had a good reason for the elders to acknowledge Hinata as the hier. Once all the matches had concluded the tournament bracket was decided.

Sasuke vs Gaara
During the month long training intermission Jiraya tries to train Naruto in summoning toads, water walking, and sealing but finds that his student has already accomplished the feat or is uninterested. As a last ditch effort he offers to teach him the Rasengan, to which he immediately agrees. Meanwhile Hinata asks for Kurenai to teach both her and Sakura some Genjutsu to prepare for thier upcoming fights, the woman easily agrees admitting that Kakashi asked for her to train Sakura whilst he helped Sasuke.
Additionally after his fight with Naruto Kidomaru starts to remember his past with Orochimaru and goes to the Hokage about it. Realizing that he planted a sleeper within the village the Hokage tells all ANBU to stay alert and escort Kidomaru to T . Only after Inoichi confirms that he has no intent to betray Konoha do they let Kidomaru go.
At some point during the month Naruto meets up with Temari and they have a chance to talk about what happened before. Temari cries that her family will never see her again, that her new family hardly feels that way, and that it's all Ryan's fault. Naruto tries to apologize and explain that she wasn't meant to get caught up in this but she doesn't want to hear it.
The day of the tournament arrives and the first match is between Naruto and Temari. Predictably Naruto starts the fight by summoning Shadow clones, and Temari tries to shoo them away with her wind. But Naruto had been prepared. He casts a Genjutsu and for a brief moment Temari forgets she has her fan. Naruto uses this moment to strike as Temari is utterly confused on what to do. Naruto strikes her down and she lies flat on her back conceding defeat. Naruto helps her up and Temari says that even though she's still pissed at him she can recognize that it was a mistake.
The next fight is Shikamaru vs Sai. The match begins and Shikamaru takes his standard thinking pose at the far end of the arena while Sai watches confused. Sai summoned a Squid companion next to him and Kakashi asked Genma why he gave all his students summons. Genma shrugged and said that they wanted them. Danzo watches with annoyance as Sai laughs and smiles and engages in banter with Shikamaru as he fights, revealing a much larger version of his normal ink scroll that spans the entire stadium. With a combination of artistry and a near infinite supply of ink thanks to his squid summons, in addition to several other distractions and attacks courtesy of his smaller scroll Sai assumes that he has the fight in the bag. What he failed to notice was that Shikamaru was using Sai's ink to mask his shadow, and forced Sai to forfeit by swapping his kunai holster to the opposite side of his leg before catching Sainin his Shadow possession.
As expected Kankuro forfeits against Hinata, leading to Sakura vs Lee. The fight begins with Lee once again declaring his undeniable love for Sakura and getting turned down hard. Lee decides to prove his dedication and charges at Sakura, but she seems to dodge him effortlessly. Lee tried everything he could, including removing his weights, but couldn't for the life of him hit Sakura. Eventually he tired himself out and Sakura revealed that she had cast a Genjutsu on him and he never realized. In reality Sakura was lying in wait in one of the trees, but in Lee's mind Sakura was in the stadium dodging every which way. Lee feels ashamed of the loss but Guy takes the blame, saying that he shouldn't have sugar coated the hardships of being a Taijutsu only ninja.
Sasuke vs Gaara goes the same as canon to Temari's annoyance and so does the following chase, with the exception of Hinata fighting Kankuro instead of Shino. Using a combination of Genjutsu and Gentle fist to get a heads up on the puppet master. When Team 7 meets up with Gaara it takes all three of them together to defeat him, without waking the Shukaku. Sakura splits herself into Outer and Inner and Sasuke activates his sharingan, three tomoe, Naruto covers the valley in clones and the fight begins. It's hard fought but after staying on the defensive for so long Sakura kicks away Gaara's sand shield with a chakra enhanced kick, Naruto blows the weakened sand barrier to bits with a Rasengan, and finally Sasuke finishes the fight with a Chidori. Gaara survives but is in no position to continue.
Meanwhile some Sound Ninja confront Kidomaru and reveals his position as a mole. Kiba stands up for his friend and Ino shoots back that her own father deemed him trustworthy. Using the invasion as cover Danzo has some ROOT agents attempt to assassinate Kidomaru, seeing his existence as dangerous now that Orochimaru's betrayed him. Additionally he hopes that the death of his teammate will bring Sai back to his side. The assault is unsuccessful as Kidomaru, Kiba, and Ino fight back and defeat the ROOT agents. With help from Tenzou in his ANBU cover.
After Orochimaru's killed the Hokage and Gaara's been immobilized the Sannin recognizes that it's time to retreat. He leaves the corpse of the third behind as he escapes Konoha with the Sound Four. With Guren having taken Kidomaru's place. Orochimaru heads off to the forest to tag Sasuke with the cursed seal but is met by Jiraya, Orochimaru would have easily been able to take on three genin in his current state but his teammate would have been an impossibility.
After the invasion Neji confronts Naruto about letting the third die, and in turn he explains that not everyone can be saved even with knowledge of the future. He says that after gauging the risk that it was best to let the third die. Neji is unhappy about the reasoning but ultimately understands the concept of sacrificing someone for the greater good.
Tsunade Arc
Jiraya then takes Naruto along on his mission to find Tsunade, during this mission Itachi and Kisame arrive at Konoha. Kakashi meets with Itachi and ends up trapped like he does in canon. Izumi arrives next and Itachi is shocked to find she's also activated the Mangekyo Sharingan. She explains that it happened the night of the massacre upon seeing thier family's home up in flames. Filled with guilt Itachi traps Izumi in Tsukoyomi, but instead of showing her nightmarish images he allows her to live the ideal life that she would have had if he was never forced to become a ninja.
The two leave Konoha in search of Naruto and Sasuke follows after them desperately wanting answers from Itachi. Itachi and Kisame meanwhile meet up with Naruto at the same hotel as in canon, and lead Jiraya there, who is incredibly confused as to why his godson is speaking with missing nin. Naruto explains his past life to Jiraya and his and Itachi's role in the Uchiha massacre. Itachi then reveals the work that he and Shisui have been doing ever since that night. Most of the Uchiha children were taken to orphanages in the Land of Iron in order to keep them safe from Danzo, Orochimaru, and the Akatsuki. Itachi had been working within the Akatsuki to find a way to release Obito's control on Nagato. Kisame explains that when Itachi relayed his goals to him he immediately agreed, since Obito had controlled Yagura in Mist he hardly felt the same loyalty towards him that he did towards Nagato and Konan. Itachi also reveals that Deidara had also never joined the Akatsuki, being taken in by Shisui's group, which contained a few of the genin level Uchiha that they had saved.
Naruto asked why Obito let you join the Akatsuki after he betrayed him during the massacre and Itachi explains the his leading theory is that he wants to keep his enemies close and restrict Itachi's movements. This of course is the scene that Sasuke barges in on, and is completely thrown off by.
Itachi cuts the meeting short there and looks at his brother, he tells him that he isn't an enemy, to stay far away from Danzo, and to stay safe in Konoha. Sasuke demands for Naruto to give him answers and he replies that he'll do it once they're back in Konoha, so he can tell him and Sakura at the same time. Sasuke is suitably pissed but accepts the terms. Already out of the Village Jiraya decides to take Sasuke with them.
They find Tsunade in a bar and Sasuke is disgusted that one of the strongest ninja in the world could be such a loser. Naruto muses that insanity must be a side effect of getting too strong too fast. Sasuke thinks back to all the prodigies he's ever known or heard of and agrees with a shudder. The rest of the arc pretty much proceeds as normal, except that Naruto doesn't need to prove that he can use the Rasengan as Jiraya has actually been assisting him with a currently secret project.
It's at this point that I lost my second notebook so the rest of this is going to be the cliffnotes version of the plot instead of an extensive overview like before
Upon returning to Konoha Shikamaru, Sasuke, Sakura, and Naruto are all promoted to Chunin.
Sasuke refuses to be taken by the Sound 4 following Itachi's advice so they kidnap him instead.
In his hasty attempt to gather together a team Naruto finds Sakura, Hinata, Neji, Shikamaru, Kimimaru, Kiba, and Rock Lee. The 8 of them chase after Sasuke.
They are first stopped by Jirobo and Kimimaru stays behind to defeat him, wanting to show that he's loyal to Konoha instead of Sound.
Next they are stopped by Guren, who requires the efforts of both Neji and Hinata to defeat.
Sakon and Udon are then fought by Kiba
Tayuya is fought by Shikamaru
Kimimaru is fought by Rock Lee.
Reaching the Valley of the End they expect for Sasuke to be easily retrieved but the leader of the Fukushu ends up there instead. Garaki explains that in a past life he was named James and that he lives now to kill his former best friend, all three members of team seven heard the full story from Naruto and are enraged by his callousness.
Garaki then shows off his kekkei genkai, light release. It's a combination of all five chakra types to form the ultimate offense. Anything his light touches vaporizes on contact. During the fight Naruto loses a chunk of his thigh to the light release which causes Sasuke to awaken his Mangekyo. Unwilling to fight the dojutsu without more information as to it's abilities and sensing Might Guy, Gaara, and several Konoha ANBU approaching Garaki retreats.
2 Year Timeskip
During this period Sakura trains with Tsunade to further her skillset. Sasuke joins ANBU to train himself further under the alias of Badger, and Naruto travels with Jiraya.
Garaki arrives at Ame with his own group and comes into conflict with Obito, recognizing that he has a weakness against the Sharingan he wants his own in order to even out the playing field. To Itachi's horror he manages to defeat Obito and steals his eyes before blowing up the Akatsuki HQ. Hidan, Kakuzu, and Sasori are all killed in the explosion, in addition to Pein's six paths. Nagato and Konan were underground with Pein's real body and Kisame and Itachi got out of the building the moment Obito lost.
With Ame now under Garaki's control Itachi takes Nagato and Konan to Sound, where he meets up with Shisui. Together they all kill Orochimaru and Kabuto and take the village as their own base of operations.
Meanwhile in Mist, with Obito dead Yagura is no longer under his control and understanding that he'll never be welcomed as a kage again, flees, and Terumi Mei takes over as Mizukage. She sends Haku and Zabuza to Konoha to sign a Peace treaty. Temari is there as well as Suna's ambassador and it marks the first time Zach and Simone meet after arriving in the Narutoverse.
Naruto's original plan was to travel to all the villages with Jinchuruki and warn them of the Akatsuki's plans, a plan that immediately goes awry as when they reach Waterfall they run into another team from Fukushu, the leaders of the group are all villains from the Naruto games and movies. After killing the Akatsuki thier bee goal is to assassinate the Jinchuruki so that their powerful chakra can't be used against them. Jiraya notes that Kumo assassinated all of the previous Light Release users die to them being noted as too dangerous. This was done via tailed beast bomb, an attack so dense in chakra that Light release was unable to vaporize it the same way it can flesh and inorganic matter.
This team is led by Haido, who had already gained power from the Stone of Gelel. Jiraya was seperated from the group by Haido's hundreds of soldiers and a few Jonin level ninja under his command and as such Naruto and Fu were left to face the leader on thier own. During the fight Haido reveals that the Four, Five, and Six tails have already been killed.
After killing Haido Fu decides to join the group as they travel to Kumo. After crossing the border they're met with Killer B, who came to edge at Gyukei's insistence. Yugito arrives moments later citing the same reason. The group explains the situation and the two agree to let the Railage know as soon as possible.
In Iwa however, Onoki is on a warpath. Hearing that Konoha have made entrance into Kumo he assumes that the death of his two Jinchuruki was also Konoha's fault. Garaki decides to take advantage of his angry ignorance and helps the man prepare for the Fourth Shinobi World War.
With the death of three Jinchuruki A recognizes the danger and agrees to negotiate with Konoha. A Kage Summit is held where all but Onoki attend. Additionally Shisui arrives as the new Otokage along with Uchiha Jugo and Uchiha Keiko. Under Shisui Sound had become a sanctuary for Uchiha survivors and Orochimaru's experiments. Negotiations begin and peace is assured. As an apology for the crisis caused by the Hyugga affair, Yugito is made to be the Kumo ambassador and will be staying in Konoha for an extended period of time.similarly Yagura is handed over to Konoha as a prisoner of war. In reality these exchanges were made to keep all the Jinchuruki, aside from the current Kazekage Gaara and A's right hand man Killer B, in one spot. With Four Kages against him the head of Waterfall had no choice but to allow Fu to move to Konoha as well.
Each of the four villages also sent "ambassadors" to Konoha to prepare for an upcoming war. Tsunade however recognized that the move wasn't just to keep the Jinchuruki safe, but also to ensure that Konoha was Garaki's main target. Additionally Tsunade takes Nagato and Konan to Konoha for healing bolstering thier strength in the process. Naruto returns home with Tsunade which prompts the start of Shippuden.
Kazekage Rescue Arc
With two of his eight generals having been killed Garaki decides to launch an all out offensive. He sends both Kajika and Doshin to subdue him as well as a light clone. Garaki uses his light clone to disentegrate Suna's outer wall and allows his own men to begin combat. With Temari in Konoha Gaara and the Suna nin fight back and Gaara escapes the city, Kajika remains to attack the Village and to raid it for jutsu while Doshin follows after Gaara.
Tsunade recieves a missive from Gaara and sends The Konoha 15 to Suna as backup, unwilling to risk sending too many forces incase Konoha is attacked next. When the group arrives at Suna it's revealed that the Suna ninja have been losing the battle against Garaki's forces. A smaller force of Ami, Temari, Shikamaru, and Chouji chase after Gaara while the rest of the 15 stay in Suna.
Aside from a plethora of foot soldiers Kajika has the old members of Team Guren under his jurisdiction. While Sakura and Hinata stayed back to tend to the wounded with Kankuro, who provides antidotes for poisons, with the rest of the group charging into the battle.

Naruto faces off against the Garaki clone. Genjutsu ends up being able to disrupt light release and Garaki tries to use Obito's sharingan to distupt it. However Naruto had been working with Jiraya for two years to develop two seals on the soles of his shoes.
The first is the Actualization Seal. Which transforms Genjutsu illusions to physical constructs. The technique takes up a lot of chakra which is why the Chakra Repression Seals on Naruto's arms were replaced with Chakra stores, which allows him to use the technique ten times before gaining Chakra exhaustion. The second seal requires no chakra and it's main purpose is to destroy any genjutsu constructs that have been created. *I love this concept so much and I plan on using it in a real story some day*
Meanwhile The rest of the Konoha 15, plus Temari and Chiyo, find Doshin and his men digging through a massive dune of sand, Chiyo assumes that Gaara's hidden himself within the dune to recover his Chakra and distract Doshin. The groups fights and defeats Doshin after Gaara regains enough chakra to rejoin the fight. During the battle however Doshin manages to kill Gaara, and the Shukaku with him. Ami slices Doshin in half with her kenjutsu skills leaving two more members of Fukushu dead. Chiyo attempts to sacrifice herself to bring Gaara back, but she finds herself being killed by one of the straggler Fukushu members. With no possible way to revive him the mission is deemed a failure and Baki is made into the newest Kazekage.
Kabuto Arc
With Suna weakened thanks to Fukushu's assault and his own forces strengthened by Garaki's assistance Onoki decides to wage war on all the other nations, with the end goal of making the entire continent into the Land of Earth. Simultaneously Fukushu decides to assist in the war effort by launching thier own assault against Konoha in order to kill the Two, Three, Seven, and Nine tails. With Konoha unable to lend assistance and Suna in complete disrepair, Sound, Mist, and Cloud band together in a united front to counter Stone's assault. Kabuto, who had actually managed to survive Itachi's assault on Sound, lends his aid to Earth's war effort with Eda Tensei
In short the war has three major battles, one on the border of the land of stone, one in Iwagakure, and one led by Garaki in Konoha. Though only the former two are part of this arc.
The Battle on the border of the land of stone is led by Kabuto and his Eda Tensei army, Onoki doesn't want to risk any of his main forces when he can use corpses instead. Zetsu, now unable to fulfill his initial mission with Obito dead and Nagato out of his control, agrees to help Kabuto by providing him with White Zetsu clones.
Temari, Haku, and Mei, having foresight are assigned with eliminating Zetsu by sealing him away with a Seal designed by Jiraya. The rest of the nations attempt to keep Kabuto at bay and fight off his army of corpses. Some notable fights being

With Kabuto Dead and Zetsu sealed the first battle of the Fourth Shinobi World War is won. The group continues on to Iwagakure.
ROOT Arc
Meanwhile Konoha is preparing for war against the Fukushi. Seeing this as his final chance to take over Konoha Danzo kills Tsunade and Shizune, believing himself to be a far surperior wartime leader he has ROOT soldiers kill the two and proclaims himself as Hokage. His first action as Hokage is the execution of Yagura, who Tsunade had been hoping to use as an ally during the upcoming battle.
Enraged Sasuke leads a team of himself, Shino, Ino, Sai to eliminate Danzo before the Fukushi arrive while Sakura desperately tries to continue Tsunade's previous war efforts. Sai leads the group to one of the entrances of ROOT HQ and the group faces off against Danzo and his elite soldiers.

With few options and Jiraya on the front lines Sakura is elected as the newest Hokage, as aside from Shizune she was the only person who knew od Tsunade's war plans she immediately pardons Sasuke for murdering Danzo allowing him to stay in the village.
Iwagakure Arc:
Back on the front lines the allied forces arrive at Iwagakure and face Onoki. A and Killer B storm into the village proper, it having been decided that they would be best suited to kill Onoki and end the war.

Kurotsuchi kills Jiraya during thier confrontation and is in turn killed by Haku. With no end to the Iwa Shinobi in sight Deidara flys up to the Tsuchikage tower to lend backup, when he arrives he witnesses Onoki kill both A and Killer B. With nobody else available to stop the Tsuchikage Deidara locks himself into a battle with him. Nearing death Deidara sees only one way to win and activates his Ultimate Attack. Itachi warns most of the United forces in time but in the end Kisame, Ao, and Mei all die from the attack. Leaving Chojuro as the only abailable candidate for Mizukage.
Meanwhile Iwa is nothing more than a crater due to Deidara's sacrifice marking the end of the second major battle of the Fourth Shinobi world war. Itachi, Konan, Keiko Uchiha, Chojuro, Temari, and Haku are the only survivors of the battle and Iwagakure is officially wiped off the map.
Garaki Arc
Garaki/Jimmy's plan finally comes to a head as we're shown a girl working in Michelle's lab in the real world. This girl is Jimmy's younger sister Anella and after her brother's disappearance she's been obsessed with figuring out a way to reactivate the machine. In a flashback it's revealed that she was able to find a way to bring back Jimmy's consciousness for a brief period.
She explains to him that she can only bring one soul back to their original world, and Jimmy assures her that she'll be able to see him again soon. He plots to eliminate the tailed beast and acquire a Sharingan in order to make himself truly unstoppable. Seeing Zach, Simone, and Michelle as collateral damage.
It then flashes even farther back, showing Garaki escaping a series of execution attempts due to his deadly Keekei Genkai, cursing Ryan for forcing him into a life of nothing but pain and fear.
Flashing back to the present Anella waits in the lab on the day that Jimmy planned to attack Konoha. He asked her to suck Ryan's consciousness into the real world temporarily so that he could kill his body while he's immobile. Aidan, Ryan's own brother, wants nothing more than for his sibling to be happy and alive and hides in the lab whilst Anella waits by the lever.
Fukushi Arc
Garaki commands that Naruto face him in the valley of the end and Team Kakashi travel there with him, fully expecting him not to travel alone. Meanwhile the rest of the Fukushi arrive to attack Konoha along with a clone of Garaki that disintegrates the wall much like he did in Suna.
What the clone doesn't expect is that the remaining Otogakure Uchiha genin were stationed in Konoha and used thier Sharingan to deflect the light attack. Kurenai, the best Genjutsu user in the village attacks the Gataki clone along with Asuma. The two of them dispel it but Both die as a result. Still not having to worry about the wall crumbling down, the Konoha 15 (minus team Kakashi) along with Tenzou, Might Gai, and Genma attack the members of Fukushi.
The remaining Fukushi teams and members are:
Hiruko: Ichi, Ni, and San
Shinno: Karin, Juugo, Suigetsu
Satori
Toneri
On route to Garaki at the Valley of the End Team Kakashi is interuoted by Toneri. Kakashi, Sasuke, and Sakura stay behind to fight him telling Naruto that he has to kill Garaki to end the war. Recognizing that this is his fight, and that the war is ultimately due to his previous selfishness, he agrees to fight Garaki on his own.
Back in Konoha Sai and Kimimaru are fighting against Juugo, who remains loyal to Shinno due to him curing him of his monstrous state. Simultaneously Ami is locked in a kenjutsu battle with Suigetsu who remains loyal to Shinno due to him finding and gifting him Kiba, one of the mist's seven swords.
Unlike her two comrades Karin is much less loyal to Shinno and betrays him so that the Ino-Shika-Cho team can kill the man. The plan is only partially successful and while all the Konoha Rookies survive the battle Karin is ultimately killed alongside the comrades she betrayed.
Might Guy breaks through lines of enemy Fukushi ninja to see that Satori had already killed Genma and was standing over his corpse. After a long fought fight Gai eventually manages to kill Satori after releasing all 8 gates. By the end of the fight Gai becomes a corpse as well.
The final member of the Fukushi in Konoha would be Hiruko. Who led his own team of Jonin level ninja. Neji and Hinata fought against Shin, Rock Lee and Tenten fought against Ni, and Kiba and Shino fought San. Meanwhile Yugito and Fu fought against Hiruko himself. Yugito dies during the conflict and Fu barely survives. Shino recognizes that if Naruto fails at the Valley of the End Fu wouldn't be able to counter Garaki's light release in this state and the war would be lost despite having fought off the rest of the Fukushi.
Before Naruto's fight however Sakura, Sasuke, and Kakashi must face off against Toneri. Having swapped his own eyes with Itachi's during the Kage Summit both he and Kakashi had the eternal Mangekyo. Meanwhile Sakura had mastered her Soul Splitting Technique so both her Outer and Inner Clones could fight at full capacity. At one point it seems like Sasuke's going to be killed by Toneri but Tenzou, who had been following his old captain out of concern, arrives at the scene and takes the hit. Trapping Toneri in a wood prison as his final act of defiance before death. Using this slim opportunity Kakashi, Sasuke, and Sakura successfully kill Toneri.
The final battle then commences with Naruto arriving at the Valley of the End, simultaneously in the real world Aidan desperately tries to prevent Anella from pulling the lever that will no doubt kill his brother. The two fights occur side by side, Jimmy cursing Ryan for placing him in this situation, and Ryan denouncing Jimmy's blatant disregard for human life. Jimmy yells back that this world is all fake anyway and that he shouldn't care what happens to it. Using a combination of Tailed Beast Bombs, Actualization Seals, and Sheer Willpower Naruto eventually lands a fatal blow on Jimmy/Garaki. Jimmy in his dying breath launches a final Light release at Naruto. The blast was slow and Naruto should have been able to dodge it but Anella manages to pull the lever, locking him in place.
Team Kakashi arrive at the valley to see Naruto decapitated by a blast of light and Garaki dead next to him. The war is over... but at what cost?
Anyways! That was my plan for the story. I hope you all enjoyed this little synopsis :D due to the loss of my notebook the majority of the war was kinda fuzzy and I had to make some stuff up on the fly but the finale was always planned out. If anyone wants to take this outline and make a full fic out of it be my guest!
