"Miroku-sama! Shippo-chan! Sango-chan!" cried Kagome as she jumped out of the well. It was good to be back in the feudal age. School work was just too hard for Kagome's mind. She'd rather help Inuyasha fight youkai and be with her friends than to do school work.
"KAGOMEEEEEEE!!!!!!" squealed Shippo as he jumped into Kagome's arms.
"Shippo-chan!!!" said Kagome as she hugged him tightly. It was 3 days since Kagome had last come.
"Shippo-chan, where's Inuyasha? I have those noodles he likes to eat," said Kagome, grabbing a box of noodles from her backpack.
"eh… Inuyasha should be in the forest at the moment…" Shippo said, munching on some chocolate donuts.
"ah, okay! I'll go and find Inuyasha! Tell Miroku and Sango I'm back!" called Kagome, rushing into the forest. Kagome ran and ran until she saw a strange light. Many blue lights sparkled at Kagome, and Kagome, being the curious girl that she is, went towards the blue light.
"Kikyo, you know I won't leave you. You're soul is mine and…and…I love you." Kagome heard Inuyasha say. She peeked out from behind a tree and thought: Inuyasha and Kikyo! What are they doing here??!!
"Inuyasha! STAY BACK! Don't touch me!!!" screamed Kikyo, backing away from Inuyasha. "You love that Kagome girl! Don't say such things!"
"Kagome…" Inuyasha whispered, pondering at the name. Kagome sat down, feeling depressed. Why does Inuyasha love Kikyo still?? Why not…Kagome? The one who has always been with him and took care of him? Inuyasha suddenly sprang out his arms and hugged Kikyo. "I'll never leave you Kikyo. My Kikyo." Kagome gasped and started crying softly. Why did she have to watch this? She put her head down on her knees and cried.
"I care about Kagome too Kikyo" said Inuyasha. "But I also care about you, My Kikyo."
"Let go of me Inuyasha! Our relationship is ov-" Kikyo started saying, but Inuyasha grabbed her face and kissed her on the lips. Kikyo relaxed and hugged Inuyasha back.
"I…I…I love you too, Inuyasha." Kikyo whispered. Kagome got up and started going back to the village. Her foot stepped on a leaf and she stopped, in horror.
"Who's there?" barked Inuyasha. He jumped from Kikyo's side and into the forest. In slow motion, he landed in front of Kagomer. Kagome's face was tear-stained and her eyes were puffy and red.
"Kagome…"
