Disk Defragmenter

A/N: Oh dear god, this is almost like something Q would do... Warnings for the writing ahead... we have ooc, silly-ness, Defragmentation World(TM), weirdness? And um I think that's it. Special thank you to Nix Dreams (affectionately known as Qraisi or Q) for the dialogue between Quatre and Duo about the 'defragmented family' ... Just read it...

'All through the house not a creature was stirring, not even Duo Maxwell.' Quatre shook his head, that just popped out of nowhere, but then he took a moment to think about the little quip. The unnerving thing was that Duo really wasn't hanging over his shoulder or trying to steal a taste of the spaghetti sauce for tonight's dinner. Frowning and slightly worried that the braided boy had gotten himself into some sort of trouble, Quatre took off the apron and went in search of Duo.

He found the braided wonder in his room, staring at the screen to his laptop. "Um, Duo, what are you doing?"

"Watching it defragment."

Quatre frowned slightly. "Watching what?

"Defragment. Heero said that I should run the defragmenter once a week for optimal performance..."

Quatre moved forward and started staring at the screen. He, too, was sucked into the World of Defragmentation(TM)...

Trowa, Heero, and Wufei poked their heads around the kitchen doorway, seeing dinner on the stove, but no Quatre. They frowned ever-so-slightly and looked at each other. Simultaneously, they head to the living roon and proceed to repeat the process. In fact, they did this for every room they came to. Then, they came to Duo and Heero's room. What they saw, and heard, made them stare in something akin to shock.

"Hello, Mrs. Disk," said Duo in a very official like voice, "we're here to speak to you about your son, Junior. Oh, and incidently is your husband home?"

"No, he left me. You might call this a fragmented home..." Quatre responded between his fits of giggles at Duo's voice and serious expression, as well as the thought of Defragmentation World(TM).

"We just couldn't have that, so we brought him home anyway. We're defragmenting the Hard Drive."

"Oh really? What does this have to do with Junior?"

"We might have to take him to be together with the school, but we don't know if it would be less fragmented for him to stay with his family or his peers..."

The three at the door looked at each other and slowly backed up, hoping the other two would not notice their presence. Once back down the stairs they let out the breaths they were holding.

"Never again do we leave Quatre and Duo alone," said Wufei, terror at what they just saw lurking in his eyes.

"Especially when Duo's defragmenting," said Heero with a shudder.

Trowa gives a slight shudder. Turning from them, he heads to the kitchen, "I'll finish up dinner."

"I'll help," spoke up Heero, following the tall teen.

Wufei blinks and his eyes widen in terror as realization sinks in. "K'so! Why me? This is injustice! I refuse to bring those two from the world they have immersed themselves into so deeply. They did it voluntarily!"

"Then you don't eat," came Trowa's smooth voice.

Wufei scowled and headed back up the stairs to the frightening scene they had just left.

The End?

A/N: God, I hope so... I'm sorry, but this just wouldn't leave me alone. Did I scare anybody? Feedback for a starving author? On a personal note to Q... Sah-rahng Hao, yobo.
