It was the morning of her wedding, and of course, the worst thing that could have happened had. Everything had been so perfect. She had a contented, understanding father and a passionate, noble fiancé. What could have gone wrong?
She flopped back on her big bed and stared at the ceiling, trying to devise a solution. When none came, she sat up in defeat and sighed heavily.
Tentatively she approached the couch where her big London dress lay and rifled through the layers of silk and brocade. There it was. Why, on today of all days?
"Blasted corset!"
