Disclaimer: I do not own Sailor Moon.  Nor do I own Trigun. Really wish I did though.

It's too hot…

A lone figure slowly trudges across a barren desert landscape, seeking civilization.  The two suns beat down mercilessly upon the sand, making the weary traveler's journey all the more tormenting.

How did I get into this mess anyway?

She stopped for the moment to wipe the sweat from her brow.  She pondered if this turn of events had anything to do the wish she had made yesterday.

That's right Haruka, you went into complete despair when Michiru told you she was seeing that man and she wanted to break-up with you.  After that, you wished for some way to escape and not have to live your life without her.

She stopped dead in her tracks once she came to this realization and looked at the bracelet she was currently wearing.

It was a simple gold bangle studded with a single sapphire on it.  It was given to her as a present from Usagi.

She said this would grant my heart's desire.  I guess I got my wish and now I'm going to die because of it.

The heat finally proved to be too much for her as she finally collapsed on the sand.

I guess this is my end… Everyone, I'm sorry for leaving you like this…

Vash's stomach gave another loud growl as he and Wolfwood rode across the desert in the jeep they had aquired.

"Are we there yet?  I need food!  Can't this thing go any faster!?!"  Whined the red clad gunman.

"We'll be there in about twenty minutes so stop complaining needle noggin!" Wolfwood said to the starving Vash."

"Besides, I'm sure that Meryl and Mille have lunch ready so we can eat when we get there!"

Vash sighed and took another sip from his half-empty canteen.  As he screwed the top back on, his gaze went back to the landscape.  His gaze instantly fixed on a figure about two isles to his right.

"Wolfwood!  Stop the car!"

They came to an abrupt stop as Vash quickly got out of the car and took off.

"Vash!  Where are you going?" Nick called out to him.

"There's someone out there.  They look like they're in trouble!" he yelled back.

Nicholas' gaze followed him as he ran to the spot where Vash had seen the person.

To be continued…

Well how was it?  Should I stop here or should I keep going?

Oh yeah and thanks for reading!!!
