Author's Notes:

The passages in italics at the beginning and end are extracts from Disaster of the Gladden Fields, Unfinished Tales. As I don't have much on the way of sources (basically The Hobbit, LOTR, Silm, and UT) I can only cross my fingers and hope that I haven't made any serious transgressions of canon. If anyone has any major disagreements with my writing, then please leave a review or e-mail me (though I tend to be polite only as long as you are). I'm still not completely satisfied with it, though, so suggestions are greatly welcomed.

Aerlinnel- I saw what you meant, and have moved around the paragraphs a bit. Hopefully it's better now. Thank you very much for the advice, as I don't read my work in the same light as everyone else does. Please feel free to comment on anything else you don't agree with!

lotrmatrixstarwarsfan- I know what you mean! I'm quite fond of Aragorn and Faramir and Boromir too, but there are quite enough authors out there paying tribute to them, whilst those less familiar with the books would not have even heard of poor Elendur. Would you suggest I do an Elendur-orientated story?
