It is AC 197.The war is over and all the gundam pilots have settled in their own way.Trowa has returned to the circus with Catherine(who is actually his sister,episode zero tells it).Wufei has become a preventer like Sally and Noin.Quatre stays in space with his Arabian servants and friends.Heero spends his time watching Relena secretly.But what about Duo?Well...he stayed at the junkyard with Hildie and lives with her at her house...that is what this story is about.Enjoy!

One day,Duo was looking at Hildie's stuff when he found a big green sketchbook."I wonder what this is...hmm?"Duo mumbled.He opened it up and found a beautiful sketching of him.There was just his head but it was exactly alike.The next few sketches were also of him,but they also included Deathscythe,his gundam.Duo checked the date of the sketch,AC 195.It was 2 years ago,when Hildie first met him.Duo remembered how nice Hildie was,and how she risked her life just to get him an info disk on the enemy.Duo continued to look at the book into the AC 196 pages and found sketches of Hildie with him disappearing from each other.Duo smirked a bit as he hugged the book and thought."Is she really in love with me for so long?"he asked himself.Duo continued to flip the pages and reached the last picture,AC 197 June 4...which was yesterday.The sketch had Duo standing on a pile of junk.Obviously,she must have been watching him from the window to sketch that.
Duo sat on the floor was he rested his head on his hands.He was so confused and he wasn't sure what he should do?Should he confront Hildie and ask her?Should he tell her that he likes her too?He walked out of the house as he travelled through heaps of junk and broken cars.Most of the parts looked like Gundam parts,for some reason.
Later that evening,Hildie and Duo had dinner together.As Hildie took a sip of her coffee,Duo reached out and held her hand."Hildie,I..."he said.Hildie looked at him and held his hand tightly."I saw your sketchbook Hildie,and I want to say..."he continued.Hildie blushed and leaned closer."..Hildie...ai..ais..aish..."Duo murmured.Hildie smiled."Aishiteru..."Duo blurted.Hildie smiled."Duo...I want to say the same thing too...since you know how I feel.."she said.
Duo reached into his pocket and pulled out a black tiny journal book.He handed it to Hildie and opened it.Hildie began to read."AC 195.I met a black haired girl named Hildie...she's cute.She's really nice though..and saved me..i guess.../AC 195.Hildie tried to help me get a disc and she nearly died.I'm worried."Hidlie spoke.She blushed as she quickly skimmed the last sentence that told to tell his true feelings to her.Hidlie leaned a bit more closer to Duo and gave him a little kiss.She sat back down as she watched the pilot blush in a deep pink.Then Duo got up and reached out his hand.He walked Hildie to ther couch and they watched a late night movie.But for some reason,you could still see some pink on Duo's cheeks....
