Remember the Dream
By: Edward IV
Remember the dream, on those cold lonely nights
As you sit by the window to watch life pass you by
The truth may be cruel and real all the same
But always remember, you know how to fly
What is the truth? What is so real?
What is a fantasy? What is a dream?
We may never know, the border is thin
Forever hidden, forever unseen
I could think
I could breathe
I could feel my heartbeat
When I entered a room
I could hear my feet
I could run
I could fly
When I touched, I could feel
I could hate
I could love
But I am not real
Now I know I'm the dream of a soul,
Seeing no reality, only the sea
I'm a wish; I'm a prayer, bright light, ray of hope
I was created to set my home free
But what do I care of the silly daydream?
I know I'm alive, I know that I'm here
I know I have hope always by my side
I have much to love, and nothing to fear
I can think
I can breathe
I can hear my heartbeat
When I enter a room
I can still hear my feet
I can run
I can fly
When I touch, I can feel
I can hate
I can love
Because I've always been real
Maybe I'll fade away
But so won't we all
So I'll run and jump
Please don't watch me fall
I'll remain with hope
So don't you forget
I'll live on in your heart
And I'll have no regret
So remember the dream, with the brand-new sunrise
Sitting by the window to watch life pass you by
Don't forget me, the guard, the final fantasy
And then together we'll know how to fly
