**This is a poem about how Christine feels after leaving the Phantom**
Have I ever been more scared
Of a man who means no harm
Have I ever seen his face
Want to tear someone apart
****
I thought he was my Angel of Music
Someone to tame my song
I thought he was as soft as silk linen
The love from him was strong
****
I thought he was the most unbearable
Most deformed, distraught beast
Yet his song was always so beautiful
And I hurt him by my leave
****
I thought that he had no heart
But he proved me so wrong
I follow the path where I start
A new life to live long
****
Still I loathe that I left him
He stayed when I played Hannah
I pity my poor Erik
My poor Phantom of the Opera
Have I ever been more scared
Of a man who means no harm
Have I ever seen his face
Want to tear someone apart
****
I thought he was my Angel of Music
Someone to tame my song
I thought he was as soft as silk linen
The love from him was strong
****
I thought he was the most unbearable
Most deformed, distraught beast
Yet his song was always so beautiful
And I hurt him by my leave

I thought that he had no heart
But he proved me so wrong

My poor Phantom of the Opera
