The Golden Leaf
Tari is looking in the mirror. She wonders why she is treated differently. She does have golden hair and eyes. She also cries and bleeds gold. She lost her family at a very young age, and Glorfindel adopted her. She wonders about her family a lot. She feels guilt for their deaths. She knows the people were after her. She dreams about her family's death. Glorfindel walks in. He sits next to Tari. His blonde hair sat on his shoulders. His cerulean eyes show that he cares. He tries to talk to Tari but is turned away. She hates his lectures.
Tari walks outside to train. She draws her twin blades and attacks a boy. She loves to spar. She grabs the boy's shoulders and flips, throwing him. After winning Tari helps him up and asks him his name. "Legolas," he replies. She tells him her name.
Their relationship grew. A thousand years later Tari and Legolas are the best warriors in Middle Earth. Legolas and Tari have not seen each other for a hundred years. He walks into the Rivendell gates and spots Tari on the training ground fighting one of the twins. He laughs and walks over. Tari is beating the twin badly. In this round it is Elrohir. Elledan looks to have already been beaten. Tari looks like an angel as light from the sun hits her. She has a huge grin on her face. Elrohir knocks her down. She jumps up and runs at him. Tari beats Elrohir and then walks down to see Legolas. She walks down and hugs him. Tari talks for a while then walks off to prepare for the ball.
She goes in her room and bathes. She gets out and puts on a black and crimson dress. The dress had long sleeves that hung two inches off the ground. Tari then sits and has her hair done. It gets curled and jewels put in it. She then has a gold circlet with a golden leaf instead of a jewel. She has a vine made of gold wrapped around both arms. She has on elven dress sandals. They are hidden by her dress. She gets blush and lip color put on.
Legolas also gets cleaned up. He bathes and gets dressed. He puts on his best tunic. It is a green one. He puts on matching pants and puts his hair how he usually has it. He walks out and sees Tari. She walks with much grace. Tis like her feet are not touching the floor. She walks in and sits next to Glorfindel. After everyone arrives they eat. Then ball begins after dinner. Tari sits by herself watching everyone dance. She just looks around. Legolas walks over to her and asks her to dance. They dance for a long while. Suddenly arrows, screams, and blood fill the room.
