Shinji slowly slid open the door of his old room, now 'the beasts' lair. For the last few hours, Asuka had confined herself to her room and never left for anything to eat, even the meal Shinji had prepared for her, and left on a tray outside her door was left untouched. At first lengthy curses in more languages than he could understand had sailed through the walls of the apartment, but those had now been replaced with maniacal laughter and explosions. He looked around, only to see the source of the laughter, namely Asuka sat at her computer in the dark, the light of the screen the only source of illumination.
Feeling slightly nervous at the sight of unit-02 ripping off the head of a purple haired angel, which looked disturbingly like Misato. He backed away, and retreated to the safety of his room. The maniacal laughter continued as massive angel versions Maya, Ritsuko, Gendo and all the other NERV employees except Kaji all met gruesome ends at the hands of unit-02.
Three days later Shinji Ikari was admitted into the psychiatric ward of the NERV hospital suffering from sleep deprivation and psychological distress.

Heh, it's not that good, I know, but reviews are still welcome. It doesn't make any sense either. It draws on a personal experience of my own, where a friend of mine had added the faces of different friends in a PC-emulated version of Sonic 1! I don't know how he did it, but it would be interesting to see how Rei the hedgehog would work!
