~Hearts Betrayal~
Kagome stared out along the tree line along the hot spring. She had felt like having some private time and Shippo was with her. Kagome suddenly had a feeling that something was calling her to it. Kagome's eyes went blank as she turned towards Shippo.
Shippo was playing and splashing water about when Kagome looked at him. "Shippo I have to go somewhere and I want you to go back to camp and tell Sango and Miroku I went to find Inuyasha and that I'll be ok. And when you see Inuyasha I want you to distract him so that he doesn't come looking for me ok?" said Kagome with a fake smile on her face.
Shippo didn't seem to notice the smile and nodded to Kagome. "I'll do my best Kagome!" Shippo said smiling back. Kagome patted him on his head before getting out and getting dressed before leaving to the forest.

"Oi! Where's Kagome?" came Inuyasha voice as he walked into the campsite. "I have something to talk to her about."
Sango and Miroku looked up with surprised looks on their faces. "I thought that Kagome had gone with you," said Sango as she looked around the campsite quickly before standing up. "Yes," said Miroku with a nod of his head, "at least that's what Shippo told us."
Everyone turned towards Shippo. "Well that's what Kagome told me to tell you before she walked off!" said Shippo as he tried to save himself.
"Well where did she go?" Inuyasha yelled picking up Shippo by the tail. "I told you everything she told me! She went to go with Inuyasha," said Shippo as he tried to get out of Inuyasha's grip.
"Well she didn't come to find me brat. And plus I was with, um, well who I was with doesn't matter, but she didn't come to find me!" yelled Inuyasha with a slightly flustered face as he let go of Shippo.
"Who were you with Inuyasha?" asked Miroku. Sango nodded in agreement of wanting to know.
"I said it was none of your business!" shouted Inuyasha. "Inuyasha you jerk tell us who you were with," said Shippo biting down on one of Inuyasha's ear. Inuyasha pulled him off and was about to throw him off with a yell of 'brat' before Kikyo walked into the campsite.
"Kikyo, what do you want?" Questioned Sango as she stood and pulled her large boomerang onto her back. "Well to join you of course in killing Naraku," said Kikyo with a small smirk on her face.
"You were with her weren't you Inuyasha?" yelled Shippo with an unbelieving look on his face. "What's it to you brat?" growled Inuyasha. "Well the fact that you betrayed Kagome again!" yelled Shippo.
"I didn't betray Kagome brat!" yelled back Inuyasha. Kikyo was the next to speak and cut Shippo's words off. "Don't you mean Kagome betrayed Inuyasha?" asked Kikyo with a bigger smirk on her face.
