Who am I? That is a question that does not have an easy answer. Unlike
most advanced humans or mutants as we are commonly called. Mutant? Yes, I
am a mutant. But unlike most of them I do not control something like ice,
fire, or minds. I can not do something such as teleport, hex, or phase
through things. No, I do not have a power. I am a power. I am the wind.
I, like the wind am cold, hard, and fierce; stern as steel. I can come from out of nowhere, and disappear as suddenly as I appeared. I can chill you to the bone or cause your body to become numb. I move as silent as death, but when angered I become louder than any storm.
If you saw me in a crowd I would look no different from anyone else. You might give me a second glance because of my pale skin that sharply contrasts with my short black hair, but then you would pay me no mind. But each day it is becoming increasingly difficult to appear normal. My feet no longer want to stay on the ground. They try to make me float. My voice is becoming quieter, more whisper like; and when I try to sing I can only sound mournful.
What is my name you ask? I have I real one, but I don't like it. But if you must call me some thing, call me Northwind. For that is who I have become.
