Ok, this is my first go at writing a Spiderman fan-fic so bear with me, I
decided to pick off straight where the film left off so picture the scene
of Spiderman web-slinging through the city. As always none of these
characters/settings are mine, and the plot barely is (I am well aware there
probably might be a fan-fics/comic/cartoon based on this film ending but ah
well.) ENJOY
Chapter 1 All ends that ends bad?
"With great power comes great responsibility."
The words ring around Peter Parkers head as he ventures around New York City. The Buildings are no longer skyscrapers and homes to him; they are a playground for his talents and skills. Well at least it used to be a playground, now it was a murder scene full of desperation, and hate for Spiderman from those closest to him. The buildings shimmer in the fading dusk sunlight, it would have been a beautiful breathtaking site, but to Spiderman it was when his work really began. Protecting his city, helping fight the scum and crime in New York. Yet still Spiderman received hatred whatever he done: Police warrants, and VERY Bad Press from the likes of James Jameson.
The streets below him are full with cars and pedestrians, just like Peter, with their own problems and troubles.
Following a cop car along the city by rooftop, Peter drops down onto a lower rooftop and crouches low, the people of New York may favour him, but the police certainly don't. Peter looks at his surroundings, the cops have brought him to a poorer part of his city. The dirty old buildings give off a type of must to him; Peter squints and is able to see someone inside. A woman, being held at gun point.
The screams off her come as a surprise to Peter, but not to the police. They shout up at the crook to let her go, let her live. He won't be listening Peter thought, he wants what New York City has to offer, money and a good life.
While watching what is unfolding around his eyes Peter Parker sighs:
"So this is how my life is going to be."
