Disclaimer: I don't own G Gundam. I wish I did, but I don't. Uh this is a short fic. Just about Rain and her feelings towards Domon. Please R + R!!
Rain sat at the end of the dock with her feet freely in the water. 'Domon.' she thought. A cool breeze sweep through blowing the young woman's hair. Deeply in thought she tried to collect her feelings and sort them out. 'Does he feel the same way for me? No, he loves Allenby. But maybe.' 'No, don't be foolish. He doesn't love me but I guess I'll never know.'
As the sun was setting a small tear escaped from her sapphire eyes. Right at that point she felt so alone, so useless, so insignificant. Pausing for a slight moment she removed her feet from the water and placed her knees up against her torso. She sat there for several minutes enjoying the breeze and the sunset.
She picked up her boots and put them on. Refusing to leave she stayed for a little while longer. She figured no one would miss her for a while. But then she heard footsteps.
"Rain what are you doing here by yourself?" Asked a curious knight. Rain turned around and saw George. " I was just uh here to think for a while.", replied Rain. "Oh, well you better get back before you worry Domon."
Rain stood up. She didn't need this. Domon wasn't her keeper. And so what if she didn't go back. Domon wouldn't miss her. He had Allenby. She had her back turned to George so he couldn't look at her.
She felt a warm, gentle hand on her shoulder. "I'm sorry Rain, but you know he cares for you.", George said tenderly. "Yeah, I know." But Rain knew Domon didn't know that she had deep feelings for him and he was to blind to see. She stood there gazing from the lake up the to sky. How she admired the colors and its beauty. Domon could never appreciate things like this.
"May I accompany you back to the boat?" "All right." George and Rain walked in silence for a while. Until George said something to break the silence. "Everything okay Rain, your really quiet?" "Just thinking that's all.", Rain said trying to hide her feelings. "Is something wrong between you and Domon?", George said.
'How does George always seem to know what I'm going through? Maybe I should tell him about my feelings. But it's better to keep them to your self, right? Except I can't take this anymore. "George, I just feel so lonely. I mean I have these feelings for Domon but the way he treats me. I'm just so confused." Suddenly a few more tears streaked her face. "Rain, Domon cares, he just doesn't know how to show it. In time he will but trust him." George said affectionately.
"Thanks George." "Anytime."
