Chapter 1:The Disappointment
"Sakura, come on. We're going to be late to the school's 25 annual party," Tomoyo said in a hurry.
"Wha? Oh coming Tomoyo," Sakura said in a surprise
"Eriol is coming with us, but I'm not sure about Syaoran. He said he might not come but would try to though," Tomoyo said.
"Hmmm." Sakura replied with a frown. "Well I'm going to call him. Wait a second Tomoyo."
"Ok Sakura, try be quick" Tomoyo said in a gentle voice.
"Thanks!" Sakura said while reaching out her cellephone in her pocket. [Bring, Bring]
"Uh, hello." Syaoran said.
"Syaoran! It's me, Sakura. Tomoyo said that you might not come and I was wondering if you were." Sakura said worriedly.
"No sorry Sakura. I'm going to have to sit this one out." Syaoran answered.
"[sighs]Alright Syaoran. But what are you going to do since you're not coming?" Sakura wondered.
"I have to take care of my little cousin because Wei isn't home so I have to take care of her, and I don't want her to see us together or else she'll tell mother." Syaoran said.
Syaoran's cousin was Yoko. She was a cute, little girl yet quite painful to take care of sometimes.
"Well I'll miss you and I hope you can come to another party with us Syaoran," Sakura said. "Anyways, we're late so bye and I'll tell you how it goes."
"Ok Sakura. See you later" Syaoran said sorrowfully.
"Are you ready Sakura and is Syaoran coming? Eriol is waiting for us in the car," Tomoyo asked.
"Yes I'm ready, and sadly no. He has to take care of his little cousin." Sakura said sadly. "Well come on Tomoyo! Let's go!"
