Chapter 2
***THE NEXT MORNING***
When Rogue didn't show up in the gym, Logan figured she'd finally slept in for once like a normal teenager should. When she didn't show up at breakfast though he kind of got worried. Normally the kid was practically his shadow all morning. She'd meet him in the gym to spar, they'd eat alone together somewhere then just laze around until something better came up. The change in pace was ruining his morning and he became determined to find out why. Nose practically to the grindstone he set off to find the AWOL girl.

Determined that Logan would never learn what she knew, Rogue decided that it would be a good idea to just avoid him though it meant ripping the halves of her heart into more pieces. Thats why when Bobby asked her to breakfast with him in the yard (like he did every morning since shed arrived) this was the morning she didn't refuse. "Of course ah'd like to eat with ya, sugah."

Bobby was on Cloud 9 when Rogue said she'd come with him instead of going with Wolverine like she normally did. *Maybe she's warming up to the iceman...* he thought, taking her covered arm and escourting her to breakfast.

Logan stalked to the dining room but not seeing the girl he continued until he heard her southern drawl. "where were you this morning, kid?" he asked menacingly bareing down on the couple. With an apologetic look to Rogue, Bobby ran off quietly leaving them alone. Rogue glared at logan.
"Ah know." she told him coldly, her anger unleased suddenly upon him.
"ya know what, Marie?" he asked warily. It didn't look good.
"Don't call meh that!" She exclaimed, tears coming to her eyes as she jumped up and ran back in the mansion leaving a confused yet possibly enlightened man in her wake.
AN: okay... im SOOOOO not pleased with this but it WILL get better... im gonna take the next couple of days and a binder of paper and WORK at it... i WILL MAKE this chappie WORK! and hold on to your hats folks but the next one will definatly have SOB SCENES!!!!!! *ducks and cowers from airborn veggies* youll like it... *walks away muttering about GREAT first parts with SUCKY seconds...*
