Ok, I normally don't post poetry but I do write a lot of it. I really liked
this one and wanted to know what people think. It is from Remus to Sirius
after OotP and they are lovers in case you can't tell.

True Pain
Until now
I didn't know what pain was
Living every day in a daze
Carefree
Oblivious of hurt
With you by my side
But now you're gone
Beyond the Veil
And I'm alone
Everything hurts without you
The silence kills me
And the cold envelops me
All warmth lost
But to you it's still nothing
You suffered true pain
Alone
In the dark
An innocent man accused guilty
Screams in the night
Memories torturing you
Forced to relive the past
But only the worst parts
All happiness devoured
Endless suffering
Driven crazy
Mistrusted and betrayed
Then your life taken
Leaving me alone
To suffer too
I don't need walls or guards
To imprison me
I too became trapped by my thoughts
Reliving the pain
Maybe now I'll understand
What you went through
And tears roll down my cheeks
Every night
As I look at the empty pillow
Beside me on my bed
I'll love you forever
