Fictional

You may be fictional, and you may not be real,
But that does not change the way I feel,
You were my true fictional friend,
And soon in the book you met your end,
And people walked by, laughed and even sneered,
Saying, "You're pathetic, crazy, and just plain weird!"
Just because I sat and cried,
When a fictional character that I grew to love, died.
