I Don't Want to Miss a Thing
It was late at night and Monica was too tired to continue staying up and waiting for Chandler to come home from work. She sadly walked over to the couch to watch some television only later to have fallen asleep.
Moments later, the door creaked open and in walked Chandler. It was quite apparent by his facial expression and body language that he had had a hard day at work.
He silently put away his briefcase and hung his overcoat up on the coat rack. He crept towards the bedroom when he suddenly stopped and admired his beautiful girlfriend asleep on the couch.
He went to turn off the television when she switched positions on the couch. She was now fully facing Chandler.
He walked over to her and sat opposite of Monica. He could just sit and watch her sleep for hours. He caught himself listening to her calming slumber at night more than enough times to realize how lovely she was.
He could easily spend the rest of his life with her, and only her. He quietly picked her up and went to their bedroom.
He tucked her under the covers and went to change for bed. He crawled into bed and wrapped his arms securely around her, protecting her from any nightmares that may sneak into her mind.
He hadn't realized she was awake until she softly whispered a sweet and tender "I love you" into his ear. His only response was to hold her even closer than before and he had no intention of letting go.

Chandler abruptly awoke. He had had a nightmare. He dreamt that he had lost Monica forever. But he slowly calmed himself when he realized she was right next to him in bed, but no longer holding her. In one swift movement he wrapped his arms around her, close enough to feel her heart beating and just starred at her. He saw a smile creep upon her lips. He couldn't help but wonder if she was dreaming of him.

Due to her steady, rhythmic breathing, he nearly fell asleep. But he never shuts an eye without kissing her once on her eyes.
