Ryou stared down. Down into the black nothing-ness of the canyon. If five years ago, Someone had told him it was going to end like this, He would have laughed.

He would never laugh again. Not after what had happened. If he had to set an exact point, at which his life began to die, It was the moment Malik lost to Yugi.

He remembered it Clearly. Yami Malik gave up. He had no more will to live. Malik was the only reason he kept living. The police called it a "Random Act of violence", A wrong place-wrong time thing. I never really believed it. No random accident involves 34 shots out of a handgun, and the theft of the Millennium rod. Both Malik's died.

Yugi blamed himself. He didn't even do anything. Yugi's Death was silent. 19 sleeping pills. He didn't have a chance. He called everyone that night. He just dialed the number, and said "Goodbye". Joey went to his house. When he got there, Yugi had gone silently in his sleep.

Then the millennium puzzle was passed to me. At any other time, it would have been a miracle. The pharaoh still lived in the puzzle, creating a never-ending war between the yami's. I couldn't think.

Then I was here. I dropped the millennium items over the cliff. Then everything was silent. Dead silent. I missed them. All of them. I would have done anything to hear their voices again.

And now I'm here. I'm read to do it. To end the pain and misery.

I collapse. "I can't. I CAN'T DO IT" I scream to the heavens.

So for the 4th time, I stand up, to go home. I have tried to end this pain for so long.

Suddenly, I know its over. The rock beneath my foot shatters, Send me plummeting into the chasm. As I fall, A final tear slides from my cheek, and into the wild sky.
