For the Love of Our Kingdoms
By Pyro Venus
A/N: This is a short-but-sweet poem I wrote one day for no reason about the Silver Millenium and the hard choices two lovers must make, all for their kingdoms. You'll know who the couple is as soon as you read it, so read on!!!
For the Love of Our Kingdoms
Two Princess' are we
Beautiful and free
Wished we could be together, always and forever
But alas, 'twasn't to be.
For the Senshi of Love
And the Senshi of Fire
Needed to reach
Higher and higher
To finally become queens.
Love was our weakness
Protection, our devotion
No chance to set
Our plan into motion
So finally friends were we.
Nothing more but friends were we.
But the barrier weakened
As we became older
And, four years later
We became bolder
So finally, lovers we tried to be
Lovers we tried to be.
But the criticizing
Put us to shame
None of our families
Would say either name
So soldiers we were forced to be
Duty called to you and me.
About a month later
There was an attack.
We promised
To watch eachother's backs
The Moon became our Hell.
And suddenly all wasn't well.
And now I hold you in my arms.
Beloved Venus, you still hold your charm.
And with your dying breath you place
A wish upon our fates.
In the next life, we shall find one another
And then our love will not be bothered.
We've been through all this
Just for the love of our kingdoms we hate.
For the love of the kingdoms we hate
