Hedwig screeched loudly, flying over Harry's head rapidly. Harry rolled over and moaned.

"Blimey, Hedwig! Must you be so loud?" Hedwig screeched again, then flew over to Ron's bed, obviously to annoy him.

"Yeow!!" Came a scream from Ron. The scream hurt Harry's ears, so he sat up quickly. "Bloody owl is pulling my hair!!!" Shouted Ron. "Hedwig come here!" Called out Harry. Hedwig screeched again, then flew over to Harry and landed on his bedpost. Harry chuckled, but Ron was not so easily forgiving. "That bird." Ron held up a chunk of red hair and turned red. Harry laughed again. "Oh cummon Ron, it's not that bad!" Ron looked in the mirror by his bed. "Yeah, I guess you're right." He said dully. Ron patted his hair down in the spot where it had come off. "Well, we better get to breakfast. I promised Hermione that she could teach me that new Disarming Spell before today's test." Harry nodded and pulled on his Gryffindor sweater that Mrs. Weasley had knitted him last year.

When they got to the Great Hall, they did not see Hermione so Ron walked over to Ginny who was sitting at the table. "Er.Ginny have you seen Hermione?" Ginny looked him straight in the eye. "She's sick." She said. Ron looked disappointed. "Man, now I'm going to flunk the test!" All of a sudden he brightened up. "Maybe we still have time!" He motioned for Harry to follow him. Harry and Ron walked to the door, but there was something blocking their path. "Have a little hair accident, Weasley?" Sneered Malfoy. Ron glared at Malfoy. "My hair looks better than yours ever will!" Malfoy turned red as the other Slytherins went "OOOOO" "You wish, Weasley."
