Mr. Cohen-Sandy-walked in and before he said anything I knew I was screwed. I could tell by the look on his face. Then he sits and tells me I'll be in here for thirty to sixty days.
Only I know it'll be longer. I know my mom better than that. But, then again, this is jail. In thirty days I might not be here. And when Sandy walks out and that guy jumps me, I know I might've seen him for the last time.
I look at him and he gives me this look. I guess he knows too.
