Talk and Listen

Isaac and Garret stumbled along, sweating in the heat of the sun. Soon they caught up to the one they had followed. He had black hair that smoothly fell infront of his light blue eyes.
"Hey! Why didn't you stop? We called to you ten times!" Isaac asked, glad to be walking. The man didn't answer, he was a year or two younger than Garret, but looked older than Isaac.
"What's your name? Can you hear me?" Isaac continued, the man (or boy) stopped and shook his head before moving on.
"Hello! He asked you a question!" Garret said indignately.
"You may talk, but I won't hear." Said the man.
"He said something, but I didn't understand it." Garret sighed. "What's your-" he paused at Isaac's stunned stare. "Isaac?"
"He can't hear, Garret. He's deaf, but he can talk."

Truely- You're not in this story. (shoves Link away) Anyway, Garret, I'm done.

Garret- (stops feining sleep) Already! It was just gett'n good!
