Cathrine Wilkes finally let the tears fall. For the first time since she had heard about the death of her daughter , she cried. She had been to numb to cry before, but now the tears came in torrents. She now knew that her daughter had died happy. She knew this because of the note she had found at the base of the headstone. The hand writing was small and messy, but the note was still beautiful to Cathrine. All it said was:
