The day of the funereal arrived. Trunks put a comforting arm around his wife as they entered the church. When his wife, Pepper saw the coffin with her daughter inside, she cried even more.

LaToya's death was a mystery. She was found dead in the Forrest near the Son family's home. She had no injuries; in fact, it just looked like she had died of a natural cause. As Pan had said to the police "One minute she was talking about her upcoming exams, and making daisy chians with Buu, next minute, everything was quiet. I turned around, and Buu checked her pulse and said she was dead."

That was the more mysterious part of the death. Pan and Buu were there and yet neither of them saw a thing.

After the funereal, Pepper walked up to her daughter's coffin and held her daughter's cold limp hand. Trunks walked up to his wife, but he said nothing. Goten walked up to Trunks, and said quietly "Are you and Pepper going to be alright bro?" "We'll be ok." Trunks replied. "Mum said you could both stay with us, she said she would help out a bit." Goten said a little more loudly than before. "I'll ask Pepper later." Trunks replied once again. Goten left and not far behind him Trunks and Pepper walked out of the church.
