Screaming and thrashing and shaking and breaking
Trying to rip yourself away from what you feel
Hating yourself because you don't think your worth saving
Condemned inside nightmares that are all too real
The facade that was pushed upon you starts to burn and crack
The skin underneath is blue, black, and grey
Falling further beneath and you can't get back
I can't just sit back and watch you slip away
This is something I have to do
I know what self-loathing feels like too
Before I closed myself off just to get through
