Willow's in the bathroom, washing her face in the sink before she comes to bed.
I stand in the doorway, silent, watching her.
Water drops in a silent stream from hand to sink, and the nape of her neck lies exposed where her hair has fallen over her shoulders.
One step forward and I could press a kiss on that scrap of milky skin. But I remain still. I'll save my kiss until she comes to bed, when I can let it multiply and spread all over her body.
I can wait. There's no need to rush. We have forever.
