Red and white falls through the air

Destroyed

Where broken dreams now lay

Agony

Tears are choked upon

Spill

As they fall upon the petals

Fragments

That lines the floor

Breathe

Pain now coats the air

Crush

Two hearts shatter on the stage

Farewell

The diamond leaves the world behind

Denial

And her poet breaks into a million pieces

Hope

But she knows they'll be reunited again

Waiting

Time is all that holds them

Apart.
