My Heart Will Go On
Erik poem again. This is something he 'wrote' and sent Christine, it's addressed to "the Girl Who Has Everything' so it's going with the other poem like you read the beginning there and this is what Christine read after that.
For the Girl Who Has Everything,
I know now that you are thinking twice on your decision
You are wondering if I am all right
And though I grieve you every day
My love keeps me strong
I realize you have everything and nothing now
For I have everything and nothing in a different way
Not financial
But spiritual
I have everything my heart desires
And yet nothing
For when I do not have you
I do not want anything
But I have watched you
And I know deep down
I hold your love
And so I will die a happy man
Though I am unable to live forever
My heart will go on
Because you taught me to love
And you helped me continue to hate
you've made my heart expand from virtually nothing
To something too large to handle
And so as I write the final goodbye
I leave you my love
For it is all I have left to give you
So when you think you have nothing
Know you have my heart
My heart that will go on
