Soul Sin

The rain would not stop, though she didn't care. The ice cold droplets felt good agents her soft, but pale skin. The darkness that surrounded her was what she treasured. The Darkness is what she lived it, her only survival. Not only her's, but all the people in her realm. Well.... maybe people is an understatement. Let's say..... Vampires. Yes, that's right, Kagome Higurashi, was a vampire.

It was her who made the decision, it was their "oh so great" leader, Naraku. Kagome didn't like him. There was something about him that did not set well with her at all. It was a cold night like this, where he had bitten her. Though, she was quite scared.

The cold, hard ground did not stop her. She wouldn't stop running. She would not give in this easily. Not with out a fight. What exactly was she running from? A vampire. A beast in her eyes. She knew she could not surpass him, but she would try.

Her feet were starting to bleed. She had no shoes on. Only her frail bare feet. What did she do to deserve this?

Naraku was quite impressed of how fast she was. For a mere mortal, that is. He like her. She would become his, no matter what.

Naraku confronted her. He smirked at her gasp. He could hear her heart pounding. He took a step closer. She didn't budge. In fact, she only smirked. Her bluish-gray eyes shimmered in the dim light. She flicked something open, with her right hand. A pocket knife. She stabbed him in the gut. And then in the right arm. Thick, dark, blood oozed out of the wounds, and on to the floor. She stabbed him a few more times before running down a dark ally.

Dead End.

She turned around and saw Naraku 4 feet away from her.

"No where to run anymore." He said. It was the first time he spoke.

"I guess." She only smiled and closed her eyes. A second later, she felt a rough hand on her left shoulder. This was it. She was never going to survive this one.

Kagome then felt a sharp pain in her neck, then everything went dark.

It was over.

That is how Kagome became what she was today. It's not like she cared. She had no one to go to, anyways. Her family was killed by demons, ruthless, cold-hearted demons. Kagome had watched them get killed, one by one. She was the only one that escaped.

Demons and Vampires have been at war for centuries. Both at equal power. Both seeking the same thing. Naraku had told her about the "thing" but she never understood it. She would think about it later.

Kagome walked down the dark, damp, cold, hallway that led to 'home sweet home'. Kagome rolled her eyes. 'Home sweet home? PLEASE!!!'

She slowly opened the door, closed it and walked over to her fridge. She pulled out a can of 'Blood Light' (LOL, Blood Light.... I crack myself up!!! -ahem- N e wayz, back to the story.) and drank it.

"What do you want?" She asked.
