**Life's starting to look good again. Dad's starting to begin life again, he's even started to accept and trust Morgan. We're almost a family. There're only two people missing. Mum-she's never coming back and Alwyn-she'll be here soon, coming on the next flight from England to New York. There's only one problem. She doesn't know Mum's dead.**

People filled the New York airport's arrivals hall, making it impossible to move. A man stood in a corner, watching people come and go. He had just put his Dad on a flight to England and now he was sipping his coffee, waiting for his lift.
As he watched, a girl stepped out of the main crowd to stand by herself at the edge of the room. She ran a hand through her deep, wine coloured hair. She turned and caught him staring. She smiled, he grinned wolfishly back. Then suddenly a shout caused her to turn.
A man came pelting out of the crowd and threw his arms around her. She hugged him back. "Oh thank Goddess, you're alive Dad," she kept muttering. He stroked her hair and held onto her tight. He pushed her away to get a better look at her then pulled her back into his arms.
Finishing his coffee, the man smiled at the sight of Father and daughter meeting. "Oi Killan" Killan turned to see his mate yelling at him to come on, if he still wanted that lift. Throwing his cup in the bin, he followed his mate.
If he'd glanced back to look at the girl again he'd have seen her hugging her brother; the seeker Hunter Niall, and being introduced to Morgan Rowlands; his half sister, the people who'd stripped his father of his powers.
"Hi. It's a pleasure to meet you" Morgan said. Alwyn took the hand offered, smiling. "The pleasure's mine I'm afraid." She said, her English accent obvious "I never thought I'd meet Mauve Riodhan's daughter." Morgan smiled.
Hunter and his Dad watched on as the two became friends. "Well that certainly made things easier" he murmured. Daniel Niall nodded "But will it make the next part easier?" he asked his son. Hunter grimaced. He really wished they didn't have to tell his younger sister of their mother's death.
Morgan was cheerfully chatting to Alwyn, as they walked towards Hunter's battered old Honda. Alwyn broke off the conversation to look at the car with raised eyebrows. "O..K" she muttered.
Hunter laughed "Don't worry Al, it can do 0 to 60 in 10 seconds" Alwyn's expression brightened "Oh good"
Both Morgan and her Dad turned to look at Hunter. He shrugged "Alwyn has always liked fast things, especially cars and bikes".
"She's not having a car or a bike while I'm her father" Daniel Niall muttered to himself.
Hunter grinned; his Dad was actually acting like a Dad, even though Al didn't really need a Dad at the age of 16. However, having Alwyn around was really going to be useful.
And having someone to look after might help their father to get over the pain of losing their mother, if she could accept it herself.
